Weed in the Netherlands

Well.. im livind in the Netherlands..
It is famous about cheese.. flowers.. and WEED ..
It is mostly for tourist.. weed sellers here can get alot of money with it.
Im 15 years old. And yes.. i have smoked weed to..
Well.. and most children here in the Netherlands smokes weed.
They are 12 years old if they are going to start smoking with it..
It is bad.. everyone knows that.. but still.. children here get's it from 18+ people.. they just ask to go to the CoffeeShop.. he buys €5,- weed, and the children pays fees to him for that
What do you think about it ?
Is the Netherlands a bad country for kids?

i think its a great country compared to us, here its hard to buy weed when your a kid. yes i have smoked before and i dont think its bad for you.and im 14

Personally I don't think people should be selling weed to children so young :nuts: .

Dude you are overreacting, not everybody does drugs, alot of people I know haven't even tried yet and are 16-18 years old. I tried it when I was 15, it was hasj, I liked it alot so I started smoking it more and more, than my mom found out and she got pissed off, so I quit for like 10 months.
I am turning 18 in februari and than I can finally buy weed myself and I don't have to rely on others. Sometimes I have to wait like a week before I get my stuff you know.

I wonder if I can get weed when I am in Amsterdam 13th of februari (All That Remains concert, YEAH) because that is like 2 weeks before my birthday. I hope so, than I can finally get my hands on real Amsterdam dope.

Billyy, weed is fun and stuff, and I don't really think it's that harmful, but smoke is never good for your lungs, no matter what it contains and I think weed does cause braindamage, not as severe as alcohol or other drugs, but it does. I think it's way better than smoking cigarettes too, since smoking is addicting, both mentally and physically. Smoking weed is only addicting for the weak minded (it's all between your ears).

So to every stoner on sythe.org, my message to you is: grab a joint, smoke it and enjoy every single minute of it.

It'll be more like 3-4 hours, more if it is really good shit. And when you're high, you can still control yourself. It's not like alcohol.

Yes, and weed from coffeeshops is safer than from the street, because they have to sell quality stuff or else they won't get customers and it's not laced with other drugs.

MUCH safer... I've been in some pretty tight situations myself, scary as fuck. And I doubt think I've ever had laced herb, but it's scary to think about getting addicted to meth, when your not even doing it...

 

Do I think dealers should be selling to 12 year olds? Of course not. They're clearly taking advantage of these kids who may not know all of the facts about marijuana. Take, for instance, after smoking marijuana the odds of having a heart attack quadruples.

Now do I necessarily care if 18 + year olds are purchasing marijuana? Hmm, difficult question. Unfortunately there have been incidents where marijuana is abused and an innocent life is taken. I'm afraid that even though the majority of marijuana smokers do not harm society, the drug in general has caused serious complications. Sometimes small numbers of people ruin it for the rest. If we as a society legalized such drugs, it would result in more innocent deaths. You could argue the point 'Everyone already has the drug if they want it'. Yes, I suppose they do, but legalization would result in a large increase of smokers.

Marijuana intoxication can cause distorted perceptions, and a possible weakened sense of coordination. So if someone smokes a joint and drives a car, innocent people have, and will die.

Yes, you could state 'alcohol has the same effect', and in all honestly you're correct. Although as a response, lawmakers are taking steps to impose harsher punishments on drunk driving. Just because we have one legal drink that can kill innocent people isn't an excuse to make more.

It's the law, you have to be 18+ to buy weed in the coffeeshops legally. You need to show your ID before you can buy shit.
I now am dependent on my friends who go there maybe once a week-2 weeks and that just sucks.
