    Good work on that. Viper - It's easier if you just make a rectangular marquee and turn it at the angle of your text dimension. Paint in the lines with the sharp edge provided by the marquee.

    First Attempt at Photoshop 3D Effect

    You pretty much hit the nail on the head there viper :D.

    I then continued to save it as a .png, re-open it as a .png and then added a soft-edged white brush. Then i put it on color burn to give the effect of a light source. And i added a drop shadow to the opposite side.

    I may make a tutorial, but it's mostly duplicating :p
