Armadyl Godsword versus Dragon Claws!

Which weapon would you prefer to spend your money on? Both are overwhelmingly expensive due to the rarity of the items, both inflict immense amounts of damage, but which would do better for training? For PVP? For bounty hunter? Which would you prefer to spend your money on? The choice is up to you.

 

Dragon claws are much stronger than an AGS, in every field. AGS cannot hit 67-32 within 3 seconds. Dragon claws can.

 

AGS is good for pking if the opponent has good armour otherwise D Claws.

 

dragon claws are more stronger yet harder to obtain til they stabilize i would say ags + you don't know if they will get nerfed you know for a fact ags won't get nerfed.

 

i heard that dragon claws are only good with high attk and str level, if not that blow. not sure but thats what i herd.

 

i say just get the ags till dragon claws drop down a bit. the go for d claws

Ags for pking def.
D claws aren't very consistant in hits.

Ags is a couple good hits then spec for an almost gaurenteed ko.

 

Dclaws is an almost guaranteed kill with the double spec, but with that being said, only a guaranteed (highly possible) kill if the opponent does not eat. I would personally lower health with a weapon (whip / godsword), then use the dclaws special for a basically guaranteed kill. Otherwise, barrage, then dclaws. Undoubtedly instant kill.

 

Although I chose "Bronze Daggers Ftw!" I would say both of them are great weapons... Although sometimes D-Claws will Fail. I've Actually seen both weapons 2-hit players before so I would actually recommend both of them for PvP/BH.
Although there is a very big gap in the prices
For training, I would recommend D Scimmy/Ags for Training Str & Whip for Training Attack/Defence
I would love to actually try out D-Claws because I haven't been able to, due to my main getting locked I have started playing on my pure
I actually used to BH with AGS & made a lot of money with it
Even 1 Iteming with the AGS can earn you lots.

 

sara godsword is best gs for training. ags hits highest. bandos is best pvp as if you get that hit in their def is screwed.

I honestly think it's stupid to train with a GS, unless you use a SGS, seeing as the spec can be useful for training.

And honestly, claws blow, me and a maxxed friend tested them out, most of the specs were so lame, he's maxxed, prayered and potted, and even then most of the specs were lame.

Also DClaws could still be nerfed.

AGS is also a decent amount of money in the pocket.

All up I'd go for the AGS for PvP and Bh. DClaws are mostly lame, although can be fun in things like CastleWars etc.

I'd go for the AGS, Claws suck.

dragon claws is only good for rush ppl and spec them.

else u should just use ags.

 

AGS has better in overall , you don't have to switch so often and stuff. =Plus Dragon claws are not that good at 120+ lvls.

 

Tbh i bet 80% of people who voted havnt used ags or claws rofl.

 

in my experience pking, ags hits more often than claws which have tendency to 0 0 30 0, instead of a 64 from ags

 

I agree with the majority of what you stated except for the prices. The prices of the AGS have been fluctuating a lot, and the Dragon Claws are still in their booming stage. The prices are based on the "supply-and-demand" theory in which there are hardly any dragon claws in the game, and same goes for AGS. The dragon claws will drop to a reasonable price once many people finish the quest and begin to stack on the Torments. This is the same thing that happened with the AGS back when it used to be 130 - 150M. Same idea, different weapon. AGS currently runs for 63.7M and fluctuates due to random crashes in the Runescape market, and dragon claws are selling for 50 - 80M and for 3a items. Both items are extraordinary when comes to combat, but the godsword definitely overpowers in many areas (in my perspective).

 

I wouldn't doubt it lol, but I also kinda screwed up the voting poll...But it seems like the bronze dagger has taken the lead, anyways lol. BRONZE DAGGER FTW! I actually hit a 21 with a bronze dagger, so hell yes bronze dagger is ftw.
