I had +2 Infraction points before because I said 'If I put two kissing guys in my signature, do I also become mod then?' - Posted it as a joke, +2 points, and 2 weeks banned.

They get banned due to a add up of infractions. If they do not want to be banned, they most follow the rules. I have never gotten an infraction... Its not that hard.

The rules are what they are. Right now I see many people who should be banned or infraction but they moderator let it slide. If the rules had no punishment nobody would follow them.

It seems stupid but it's sadly necessary in most cases.

I've never been banned, not even temporarily. If you stick to the rules then you won't face the problem.

If you go by the rules, then you won't have the problem of being temp/perm banned. Simple as that.

Do you really think insulting someone should go unpunished, this is a cheating site, NOT having harsh concequences to the rules is INVITING bad behavior, sythe want's a controlled and nice enviroment where people can feel free to try their best to participate in these low security high risk trades. Imagine trying to do high risk trades or have good debates in a cheating community where things like flamming and scamming only got minor offences?

The infractions are great, and should stay the way they are or BE HARSHER.

    Just my opinion.

Insulting someone is flaming, it's stated in the rules what the concequences will be.

Even if you DO break a rule, just lay low for a while and you will be fine. There is no rule that automatically temp. bans you, and you can only do that if you have accural of infractions.

flamming is against the rules so it should be infractable/bannable... its not a little thing if you can do it a million times and not get away with it.

Yes, sometimes it is too much. But it's also good because people will be more careful about what they say on sythe, and will think twice about saying something offensive. Btw, Jessica Alba makes me horny monks:)
