Tonight did it.

I've been sober for the past 2 years and 11 months.
This whole Covid-19 this has me stressed out.
I got laid off, or put out of work for the "forseeable future"
Nobody is giving me answers what to do for a form of income.
I know i can file for unemployment, but our operations manager keeps saying our company is gonna come up with a pay package for us.
I'm stressed.
I've had beers here and there, but haven't been drunk.

Tonight, I've had a bit too much.

 

Stay strong. It's difficult indeed due to this covid-19 situation but, try to get your head busy with other things. Maybe watching movies/series, playing games, read books, watch videos. Nothing new, of course, but keeping your mind busy, will avoid to think on bad thoughts.

My wife Is at lay-off at this moment and she will receive the minimum wage (In Portugal It's 635€, around 688$) and It will be difficult for us but, staying strong and having positive thoughts, will help us to get through. If you need to talk about anything, please, won't be a bother

Look man youre not the only one getting laid off and having to deal with struggles of living. We are all dealing with these problems too man , dont give up brother. Im struggling to pay rent , asking for constant rent reduction , but literally everyone asking the landlord the same thing too. Don't sink your time into depression man , theres more important things at the moment than drinking. Stay focused

 

Hi my friend, on the topic of helping you with income, it may not be 1k but you can make abit/alot of cash in these forums, build relationships and meet new people, it will help you my dude, its ok to be sad or frustrated but know it will pass its just a rough patch in the road!
