Is OpenOSRS basically runelite plus? Is it safe?

Wanting to train a little bit of construction with the old menu swapper plug in, just wondering if its safe.

 

It's definitely safe. Got a lot of friends that use OpenOSRS, I don't though.

 

I once got 3 banned for botting and decided to not bot again on those accounts again. So i started playing on osbuddy on 1 of the accounts after the 2 days ban got lifted.. After 1 day of playing on osbuddy on it, i got perm banned. Tried with the 2nd account to play on runelite.. 1 day after i got perm banned... Tried to play on the 3rd account on openosrs.. 1 day after i got perm banned..

Jagex botting system is such a joke.. if you have been banned before from botting and you use runelite, osbuddy, openosrs or whatever client besides the original rsclient u get perm banned

 

Really? Because I actively play on clients and almost all of my accounts have received 2 day temp bans for macroing.

 

Yes really.. The only luck ive had with those clients were on accounts that was never banned before..

 

Yes, that is not the case... There are many people who have been banned for botting and still continue to use runelite and other clients as you have mentioned. You may have been ip banned if you have botted so many times receiving many penalties from your ip. *feels bad man*

 

OPRS is great and its fine, if u choose to use other plugins do so at your own will.. menu entry swapper should be fine

 

Wouldn't recommend to use of custom plugins as even Runelite had plugins that Jagex did not favour. Stick to the ones that are approved by Jagex, keep those ban hammers away!

 

Thats wild... I think that may be something IP or HWID related? Idk, I have 7 accounts with 2 days and only use runelite, no second bans. I dont gold farm or anything though.

 

I didnt gold farm either, was just powerleveling, got banned for 2 days, got unbanned, went pking for 2 hours, and got dced, perm banned

 

Thats so weird.. I wonder what it could be? Did you download any addons not included on default runelite? Any of your other accs get yoinked or just the one?

 

I didnt inject any addons, i just used the addons that were available already. Im gonna explain it 1 more last time

ACC 1: I got banned for 2 days on 1 acc for botting after ban got lifted, i logged into Runelite to pk for a few hrs, the day after i got perm banned, i didnt bot nor inject any addons, i was simply just pking legit with no scripts or w.e

ACC 2: Same thing happened but with OSBuddy

ACC 3: Same thing happened but with OPENOSRS

But each time i get 2 days ban on 1 account and play on the original rsclient, i survive all the time.

Cant explain any better, jagex's bot detection system sees all those clients ive mentioned and all the others such as konduit as a botting client, or atleast only when you have been banned before.

 

No problems here with openosrs. Been using it for awhile now, even been using some private plugins. Jagex detection rate on those plugins are very low unless you get reported and they take a look..

 

If it’s overlay it’s safe. If it’s a macro it is not.

Boss helpers that just highlight would be safe. While prayer flickers and other macro plugins would flag your account.

 

I've used runelite for years, No issues at all.
