msn,aim,yahoo,anything-meebo.com

well i read alot of forums where people are saying i don't have msn on this computer. well you dont need msn because u could just go to meebo.com and there u go your problems are solved

 

it pisses me off when people make a trade and they don't have msn. That is so unprofessional. How do you expect a direct communication without it?

Usually, when a trader doesn't have a way for instant chat it means they are probably not very serious about their trade, and that it's all just talk.

Very good suggestion, I've learned about Meebo a few weeks ago when my MSN went down.

 

i always use meebo, i never download thinds like msn or aim becouse i always feel they might carry viruses and all. its just another back door for a hacker to ge tinto so i always use meebo, i feel like explaining it to people but never have time to.

This isn't a suggestion, also not everybody wants to use msn.
If they don't want to use it, who cares.

 

my suggestion is that like on runescape account selling they should put up a permanent thread saying that if they don't have msn they could just use meebo, the only thing bad about meebo is that it can be edited

 

you can also use Fring, as I have nearly every instant messenger on my ipod touch, although i live in australia, i heard in america AIM was as or even more popular then MSN?

 

There's nothing wrong with not using MSN. I personally would rather have people just use the PM system on here instead so I don't have to open up 2 Windows Live Messengers.

I use Meebo on computers not my own, but I believe that MSN and AIM should always be handy to use during trades. Meebo is sometimes down, and loosing connection during a MM or any typeo f trade is always bad. as for PM's, they just start to get irritating >__>.

 

This isn't even a suggestion,

it's an annoyance you have with people who don't have msn on their computers. Frankly a lot of people don't want to use msn because then they have to listen to all your chit chat for hours on end before and after the trade, the PM system works fine for setting up trades, and if not then there is always this wonderful tool called IRC, if anything this should be posted on a guide or something and elaborated upon a lot more.

Ie guide title could be "What to do if you don't have msn?"

and then you could go on to list several ways to complete the trade without it. I personally only have msn and don't want to use AIM, but many people only have AIM, what do I do? Do i go make an AIM account for that one person I want to trade with who has AIM? No I use IRC, simple.
