    Might move to America.

    Well, as you can see in the title, I might actually move to America, that's just a "Maybe" nothing more, but I wanted to ask you guys for some help.

    Right, so what I need help with is, well, my parents kind of wanted to move somewhere along the coast, maybe not like next to it, but not like in the center of North America, and not be on the west side.

    So, where would be like a nice place to live/move then?
    Not like one of them places, like Miami or Florida, as I assume they are rather expencive places.

    This is something we've been talking about quite sometime, I never actually thought it would happen, but it seems to be more and more likely.

    Thanks, any help at all would be apprechiated.

    Edit :
    Right, it seems like we're focusing around Florida.
    I didn't think my parents were to serious about this, but as time goes on, it seems like it's something that might actually happen.

    Anyone know about any nice places in Florida?

    New York is affordable if you don't live in Manhattan.

    I'll look it up, but question, out of curiosity, how much would like, an 2 or 3 bedroom house/appartment cost (to buy or to rent).
    I tried to google it, but there wasn't really a lot on Massachusetts.

    Same question as above, if you could help me out please. (Thanks by the way)

    My dad didn't seem to want to move to the east at all :p

    I say, move to Vermont. Honestly, it's one of the best states around. Not only does it have the best mary jane, but it also has low house prices, and it's near the coast. If you like the winter/snow, this would be a great place.

    It also gets fairly warm in the summer, up around 90 degrees Fahrenheit and up.

    I used to live in Massachusetts, and I prefer it here.

    Starting price for apartments in these boroughs:
    Manhattan = $1,500
    Queens = $900
    Bronx = $800
    Brooklyn = $800

    If you don't want to live in the city, you could go north and find cheaper places.

    Personally, I'd love to live in the midwest. Seems like an awesome place to grow up. Otherwise, maybe California or New York (Brookyln).

    Vermont is extremly nice if you like the outdoors , Mass. is more of an 'city' state.

    And i dont really know how much a apartment would cost. google it ?

    I know it isnt a hell of a lot its quite afforable.

    P.S. Living in california is quite expensive ...depends where it is tho

    Suburbs. Unless you want a condo/apartment and easy access to the city, in which case just anywhere not in Manhattan. My vote is towards the NYC area, I love it there.

    And after taking a look at places in like California (Sacramento), they all seem to be quite affordable.
    Gran Canaria is just hell expencive when it comes to homes I guess, because our house is quite tiny. (DOn't know the difference between houses and apartments, sorry).
    3 bedrooms, 2 baths.

    If houses are under those prices, it isn't really that bad.

    That's not to bed either, because before we bought this house, where we live now, we paid about 1300 euros a month in rent (I assume that was your pricing.. :p )

    Id Recommend the North-East States; like everyone is saying. I do not recommend that you go to states such as: Michigan(Where i live, Horrible economy), Rhode Island(just a horrible state), and do not move to southern states on the east coast that is just calling for disaster.

    What I meant with "pricing" part, was that, I assume he was giving info about renting prices :).

    249 euros is $330 US. 300 bucks a month won't get you jack shit anywhere in the country, sorry. You can expect to pay at least 600-800/month for anything half-decent pretty much anywhere in the country, with some exceptions where even 800 won't get you anything.

    An apartment is a flat man. A big building where multiple families pay rent to stay there. A house is a single plot of land you own (or sometimes rent I guess). Oregon, North Carolina and New Hampshire are at the top of my list for US states. The first and land are quite chilly with access to water (Oregon is west coast though). North Carolina is warm and nice, cheap land, access to a nice beach... Yup. USA is a great place to live and I welcome you, but just make sure you leave Socialism wherever you came from :)
