Vista vs. XP

Vista versus XP.

Your opinion? My laptop has Vista, and I'm fine with it. The only thing wrong is that the disk is becoming corrupted, and I'm saving up for a new drive for it. EVERYONE says Vista sucks, but I love it. It looks nice, it's fast (for me), and the enhanced settings and shit are very nice.

xp man vista fucking sucks and is way slower than xp.

Well, my laptop has 4 gigs of RAM, and disk errors, and it STILL goes amazingly fast.

 

I've always been an XP kind of man.

I don't know why.

 

Apparently vista isnt compatible with some things. Once vista is fully compatible with all my shit, i will be happy to use it.

Until then, XP

 

vista cuz its new but i like xp better.

XP. Much better although i Mac is good too.

 

i like vista i can tell you some reasons why some people have trouble with it (although i love xp as well)
1) not enough ram if you have sufficient ram to run your os it shouldn't be slow lol
2) you can run programs in compatibility mode in vista. (this generally fixes any problems i might have with a program.)

 

1) Install Mac
2) Run BootCamp to boot both XP and Vista
3) Get laid
4) ???
5) PROFIT!!!

 

I have Vista Ultimate on my new laptop.

4Gb Ram, 2.53 Core 2 duo processor.

It owns. My parents also have a new Xp Computer. And my Vista owns it. Love this new Vista Ultimate

 

Vista Ultimate, hands down.

 

Vista wins, from a programmer's perspective and a general user's perspective.

 

I really hate how people go on about how Vista sucks. That was only in the past when Vista new. It is much much better now.

 

I myself have Vista. And i frikken hate it, but it looks nice still I need Ms Word and stuff now i got some shit things. If someone reads this who is thinking about getting vista, dont!

Its vista intergrated with xp, not made by microsoft tho, runs extremely well

 

Windows XP as the components are much better than the windows Vista ones.

 

For everyone who says "vista is slow"
its not the program that makes it slow, its the user.
Your computer can not handle the greatness of vista.
In other words, vista all the way.

 

There isn't anything wrong with Vista. However, I use XP because it's hard to find an easily-pirated copy of Vista Ultimate.
