Guide Contest

Hello, I will be hosting a contest. The winner of the contest will be given the RuneScape account which is posted below. The contest will be for the members of Sythe only. To enter the contest you must create a guide following the rules below and whoever creates the best guide based on intelligence, format, grammar, and type of guide will win the account. The contest rules are:

• The contest will end on February 12th.

• The guide must be at least 250 words.

• The guide must contain at least 4 pictures, unless pictures are not needed for the guide.

• I will be the only one to judge the guides and I will be choosing the winner. But, I will make a poll with links to all the guides to allow the members of Sythe to vote (which will influence my decision).

• You must post the link to your guide on this thread otherwise you are not entered into the competition.

Can it be a guide that we have already written? Can we enter more than one? What topics will make you like our guides more? Do you care if we sell the account if we win?

1. May we edit a premade one GREATLY.

3. Is it free topic, or will you decide a specific topic?


I'm in desperate need of mills, this would be a good opportunity for me to blow my brains out this entire month making a kick ass guide to earn some xD

 

Perhaps our guide is an easy way to make money , would we still need pictures ?

 

The whole point is to make your own Guide, not to leech someone's and edit it.

Yeah, because it makes sense to assume when I say edit ONE OF OUR GUIDES GREATLY that I mean leach someone else's.

I have 12 more chapters ready and am starting on them JIC he approves it.

 

I would assume you could rewrite one of your own guides. Technically if you rewrite it from scratch it is a new guide.

Would editing the currently existing chapters slightly, adding about 10 ten more chapters, and 20 more pictures count in YOUR opinion?

A whole month to work on it, you better believe this guide is gonna haul ass.

What is the guide about? I think that if you are currently working on it, it will count since he does not have to know you already wrote it.

I have countless options, I know almost all about it, I could spend over 20 chapters alone on making your own theme.

I know, I'm telling the "enemy" in the competition what I'm doing, not smart, but meh, I knew you on Cheat Scene, and you used to be UE here, I don't think you'd rip off my idea, and if anyone else does I can just report them.

 

Nope. It has to be a new guide because the whole idea is to increase productivity by giving members a reason to write more guides.

I would enjoy reading something which users could learn from. Have an "out of the box" mindset.
Also, once the account is yours you may do what you please with it.

 

Would you be mad if I wrote my own guide on research papers? Or like 6 of them?

 

With mine, it will literally be tripled.
Can I just add the six chapters I already posted, or is it possible for me to make a "Part 2" type thing with only around 15 chapters?
It would be a separate guide, kind of like a a follow up.
