Racism is not only in USA but its also in Australia

I actually like Australia very much I just had to get others view and opinions on the country and this matter or is really one?

Australia is said to be one of the desired places to live at less on this forum that is the case. Mostly because so many users from their bash our terrible government (Don't get me started on Bush...we need work) however its rarely mention about the racism that goes on there.

In Australia right after pearl harbor they got reports that an attack would most like be coming and evacuated all mothers and children. Aborigines children were sent to a missionary were they would be separated from the rest of society and hopefully die there.

Some quotes about Aborigines are: "I really can't tell you of a time when 'indigenous' became current, but I personally have an objection to it, and so do many other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.... This has just really crept up on us ... like thieves in the night."

Is racial tension noticeable there any still?
Scenery really that vast and open or has it been modernized?
Has anyone in Australia actually seen the movie "Australia"? If so what were your thoughts on it.

Yep. Racism is all over the world. It will never go away.

 

Racism can't be narrowed down to certain countries.

honestly racism is a problem everywhere. Usually picked up from parents or friends. Honestly its not to the extent where it used to be. Their is never 100% way to tell if someone is being descriminated against. Theirfore, I am not sure what to say on this subject.

It happens, and I heard of some Australians are very rude to people not native to Australia. I haven't seen it myself though.

No, i have to completely disagree. Australia has to be one of the nicest places in the universe. There's a reason why cities like Melbourne are voted one of the best cities to live in.

Also, with reference to the topic, of course racism is in Australia. It's everywhere. However, i feel that racism is less wide spread in Australia in comparison to most other countries.

We know that racism is not only in the US. It IS everywhere. Honestly, everywhere you can think of. Like, those aliens on another planet right now are probably laughing and making fun of someone else because they are different. It's people's opinions, and I'm sorry to say people have their right to their own opinions.

Racism can be found everywhere. The bigger issue is when the government of the place is racist as well.

 

the government just dont want immigrants in there country draining there funds dont think there really racist.
