That's a little over $460, I think.

 

Personally I hate Acer notebooks their like Compaq's they might offer a big hard drive,nice ram and a promising operating system at a cheap price.
But after around 4-6 months you will regret purchasing it.
I know from personal experience, my Compaq's wireless randomly died,the screen went green. Also same thing on my Sisters old Acer.

Now I have a Dell Xps M1730 notebook, I highly recommend it! even over the Alienware :O so your best choice would be to purchase a brand new Dell notebook.

 

yeah looks nice but i think thats really out of my price range

 

I personaly love acer ive never had any problems with my dads laptop thats why im getting an acer. Have seen this in the shops and looks very nice altough its abit smal it still pwns and the keyboard is great

 

My sister has an Acer, and the backlight went out so she couldn't see shit..

But she just sent it on on warranty and they fixed it...

If you can, SERIOUSLY get an extended warranty.

 

Well that Acer's cheap and if you just going to use it surfing,emailing etc.. its fine dont expect to run any decent games.

its a 1 year warranty and there always is a warranty from acer like 2 years or something right?

 

well if i can play rs/ wow etc then im happy


But ive seen on youtube guys playing gta 3 / F.E.A.R / wow on the laptop

 

She never brings it anywhere, and it's been on her desk ever since she's got it besides bringing it out to the front room and packing it for warranty..

She might have, but I highly doubt it.

 

the only bad thing about the laptop is it dosent have a rom but i can buy it for like 15$ or and connect it through usb.But allready got a 250gb external hard drive

Definatly get. A HP. They last a long time. They have decent specs.

OMG ive allready have like 3 of them i dont need to buy another one

 

ive had experieance with hp :S one of my mates had bought a decent one and like 6 months the screen totalt fucked up. then he sent it to repair it got it back a week later still the same

so i wouldnt buy one never !

 

I was looking at that same acer.They look nice and i've seen videos of people playing WoW but they were lagging a little.I would only use it for Browsing the web and runesecape though so it would be good for me.
