Pyramid Plunder is a mini game that can be used to recieve massive amounts of thieving experience up to 240k an hour at lvl 91. The player goes throughout a certain number of rooms depending on their thieving level. The higher the room, the more experience you will be able to recieve. In each room there is a speartrap, urns, a chest, a sarcophagus, and 4 doors.

    Here is a room.

[IMG] Speartraps are at the beginning of each room, pass them by clicking on the side closest to you. Your chance to succeed depends on your agility level.

[IMG] Urns are found all over the rooms. When you right click the urn select "Search urn" and not "Check for snakes" because checking for snakes is a waste of time. When failing to loot an urn, a snake will bite you for a small amount of damage and and poison you. When successfuly looting urns, you will recieve artifacts which can be either sold to the archeologist at the agility pyramid for money (must be unnoted), or used to charge the sceptre which i will explain soon.

[IMG] When you open this chest, there is a chance that a swarm of scarabs will come out and attack you. Although, most people loot the chest on every floor because you have a chance to get a pharoah's sceptre when looting it. This sceptre can be used to teleport to pyramid plunder, the agility pyramid, and the desert treasure pyramid and can be recharged at the guardian mummy at the entrance of pyramid plunder by giving him a certain amount of artifacts. This sceptre also sells for around 350k on the grand exchange.

[IMG] There is a sarcophagus in every room. When looted you recieve strength experience but no thieving experience and there is also a chance of getting a sceptre. I STRONGLY recommend not opening these because there's a large chance a mummy will pop out and start attacking you or another player in the same room as you. This will not only piss people off but it takes a bit of time to open and considering your timed, thats a very bad thing.

As i said before, there are 4 doors in each room. Only one of them leads to the next room, the other 3 are fake doors. It says you can open the door easier with a lock pick, but dont because you dont get as much xp. These things can be aggrivating because after a certain amount of people walk through the correct door, that door will switch to another location, and it can take up to 30 seconds for the door to pick a spot.

-Must have finished Icthlarin's Little Helper
    -Must have atleast 21 Thieving
-STRONGLY RECCOMEND have finished Contact! for the bank right by pyramid plunder

-Take a magic carpet from the shantay pass to pollnivneach then walk south to another carpet and ride it to Sophanem, enter the city.
-Buy a charged Pharoahs Sceptre and teleport to "Jalsavrah"

    Wear anything that reduces weight.

You should be outside a pyramid that has a door on each side.

Keep walking in and out different doors until you come in one that looks like this
    [IMG]

Talk to him and go inside, get past the speartrap and go as fast as you can skipping all of the urns (you can loot the chest if you want) until you get to the second-last possible room you can thieve in. Loot all the urns as fast as you can.

When your timer gets to about [IMG] move to the next room and loot all the urns.

-The Pyramid Plunder world is 64
-To maximize your experience, try to get into a group with 2 or 3 other plunderers and find an empty world. This way the doors dont reset as much.

    Awesome guide!

I have reached 71 thieving here and I was wondering if I should just check snakes in my second best room and loot my best room because the time I have for both rooms gets smaller? Thanks

No, it saves time if you just not check snakes at all. If you don't think you'll be able to finish the first room you start thieving to go on to the next room and completely finish it, then go leave the first room early in time to be able to finish your last room.

Great Guide! I heard this was faster than knight's but didn't get what to do to get the most experience, so went back to knights. I'm going to try this for a few hours, thanks.
