Trap door in GE

has anyone ever opened the trap door and found out what its for? No one where I live knows so I was wondering if anyone does. =|

Disproven whims:
Jagex meeting area - no they could just log out and talk to each other.
Summoning - no its already out
New quest - no i doubt they would keep it there for a quest that hasn't even happened
Moderators hang out - no they have a speacial place on the runescape website where they can log in and hang out.
Level 138 - no I have friends who that lvl and they havnt been able to get in

Please post if you know or have an idea what it could be

I personally believe it's just there as decoration, and to distract us from the updates; remember, it was put in with the GE which many people were concerned about.

 

it seems very interesting i'm sure there will be use for it in the future though.

 

JaGex moderators and Player moderators already have theyr own meeting place.. They talk to the doomsayer in lumbridge to get to it.
The lvl 138 thing is just stupid. ofc not!
Quest thing: stupid.

My bet is that its for a quest that hasn't been released yet. Or just for decoration.

 

I'm assuming it's just decoration. But you never know, Jagex always has surprises.

Really don't know but maybe...

Remember how in the past if you had the disc and used it to go into a blackhole to visit banned players and rule breakers, and you leave with the disk.

This might be the same just you will need the disc again

... Yes that may sound retarded but it is better than saying "Oh it is for decoration."

 

I bet it's for a quest, as many people have said that they doubt it is for a quest, I am sure that Jagex has put it there early to get people like wtf lol. And then when the quest comes out its going to be a hard one, which most people can't do due to requirements, so they have been hanging out all this time for what it is for nothing.

Jagex are tools like that.

 

as far as it not being a modotator hangout i disagree

a few days ago some1 posted letters from jagex ltd about a job. in those letters they said that mods could talk to any banker and be teleported to a mod hang out

 

The doomsayer thing is most likely false, something he made up to sound smart.

Im not sure about the door, only guesses for now.
