Winrar

First we will need Winrar. This is for installing the source later on. Go Here and click on the Download Now. Then install it. Then, that's pretty much it.

Okay, here's where some people get stuck on. JDK. JDK it what you need in order to compile your server. Compiling is pretty much saving. Go Here and select your platform and tick the box beside I Agree. In the next page, put a tick in both Offline and Online] boxes. Then click Download with Sun Manager. It should look this this:

Next go to wherever you downloaded it to and look for the new icon. Under it says the name. Double click it and wait for them to download. After that, the real installment starts. Double click the icon the icon that looks like this and follow the instuctions.
Then you are done with JDK.

No-Ip

Next go to www.no-ip.com. Go to the right and you will see the Login bar. Click the Create an Account.

Once you log in, click the Hosts/Redirects that is on under the No-Ip logo on the top-right. Then to the right, click Add a Host. Next, you will see Hostname: and beside it no-ip.biz. Beside the Hostname, make it whatever name you want your server. In the No-ip.biz, click on it for no-ip.info, no-ip.org, hopto.org, zapto.org Etc. Then leave it the way it is and go down and click Create Host. Next, click on the No-Ip logo on the top-right and you will be redirected to the home page. On the top tabs, you will see

Home, Download, Services, Services, Support, Company

Click on the Download. Then go down and click your operating system (mainly Windows). Then click Download Now. Then go to wherever you downloaded it to, and double click on this icon:
You will then install. After it is done, go to Start. Then go to Programs and hover above No-Ip and click No-Ip Duc. Then at the bottom-right beside your computer time, you will see this: Double click it and something like this will appear: Tick the box beside your server name. Then you are done with No-Ip.

Well, this is the simplest part of all. Getting a source. Simply Go Here and select a server you like. Then download it. Then go where you downloaded it to and you'll need to install it. Look for the icon outlined in red. Right-Click it and click Extract Here. Then you have the files for your server.

Environmental Variables

Go to My Computer. On the top-left click on View System Information.
Then on the bottom-left tab, click on Advanced. Then near the bottom, click on Environment Variables. Next, click on the New button under the top list.
Then for the Variable Name, name it

CLASSPATH

. Now for the Variable Value, put in

C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin

. Now click New again and this time name it

PATH

. Again, for the Variable Value, name it

C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.6.0_03\bin

. Now click Ok on everything. You are now done with the Environmental Variables.

Port Forwarding

Okay, this is the most frustrating part in making a server. Port Forwarding. Most people say that you HAVE to have a router but I believe modems also work. Go To Here and look for the company of your modem/router and your model. Next, at the top-left of the next list of games, choose 1st SMTP Server. Then follow what it says but when you get to the numbers part, DO NOT PUT IN 25!!! Make it 43594, 555, OR 43595!! Then you are done.

Fixing your Compiler

Okay, go to your server files and find the .bat icon called Compile. Right-Click it and click Edit. Delete everything there and replace it with

You now have a working Compiler

Turning on your Server

Well this is pretty basic. Remember this? Well, double-click it and tick the box beside your server name. Next, go to your server files and click the Run or RunServer in your server files. It looks like the Compiler icon. Once it says it's on, congratz! You now have a server and you and your friends can play on it!!!!!!
