In my view, I think that when people get frustrated and make dumb topic's about the moderator's not being active is just the person feeling jealous that they are not a moderator and don't get much attention. Stop worrying about moderator's being online 24/7, I don't see how much it can affect anyone so much to make a topic and complain. Let the staff decide, no one is forcing anyone to come to Sythe. If you want 24/7 mod's make your own forum and try to find some.

    I'm not staff, that's Team Lead's and the Admin's problem ;)

But yes, I can clearly see your problem now D:

Maybe Sythe should just provide all of their Moderators and Administrators with blackberry's or Iphones so they can be on Sythe 24/7 hence eliminating your need for them to spend 24 hours here to take care of your problems.

The idea made me laugh quite a bit. I thought it was a joke.

I was taken aback and laughed some more when one of our ex-best Moderators advocated the unrealistic idea.

Then I laughed even more at further agreement.

It's not going to happen in a million years. Sythe simply wouldn't do that.

There's a lack of members that are capable of being staff. That's the bottom line and sorry for being so blunt on the issue. We know what moderators are doing what and we'll deal with the ones that are lacking in activity. However, as of this moment there really isn't anyone worth demoting for lack of activity, and a very slim chance of finding a replacement.

It was a joke Finn, it was made to show the ignorance of sythe user's thinking that moderators have 24 hours to spend on forums. The time that moderator's spend on sythe is acceptable to me, I feel they are doing their job exceptionally well... They get thing's done, maybe not on time, but it get's done. Point is 90% of the moderators or administrators have life's, and they cant be on sythe ALL day, and the people complaining shouldn't be either. If your not happy with it, then leave. If you don't have the patients for something as little as your report not being handled right away then forums aren't for you.
