Interesting history fact

The widely accepted hypothesis is that North Indians are descended from Caucasus, like most Europeans... I find this bizarre but somewhat fitting and passable. This supports my belief in the concept of multiregional evolution and answers many questions I had in my youth about why the Indian languages that I speak (Hindi/Urdu/Punjabi) are remarkably similar to English in some forms.

Anyone else find this interesting and notable?

This is pretty interesting if correct, Wasn't the Romans greek those(I failed history so if im wrong sorry) so wouldn't they of adapted into the latin section or did they just steal their language.

 

Indo-European is one of the 4 main languages. Which makes sense but eventually they split and made their own languages I don't know if they are all related like as one but they had similar languages. If you really check it out the English language borrows a lot of words from lots of different languages. You can check out the OED etymological meanings and it will show you. For example the English language used the word musa which is sanskrit for banana (correct me if I'm wrong but its one of the indian languages). It was later changed to banana when an explorer went to Africa and the tribes called them bonanos and then the explorer turned it into banana.

Very interesting, I was totally un aware of this until I read it.

Me myself, am 70% italian. Don't really know much of the language though.
Although in the future possibly in college I would love to learn some!
