    Paypal -.-

Ok, honestly who here has used paypal and has never had a problem with buying and selling using it. I myself have lost $400AU+ using it on ebay. I had a good collection of habbo AU typewriters that I was selling on ebay for $60 each. Paypal first limited my account after the first typo sold. I used my fathers account as I am not 18, I put his credit card on and uploaded passport, phone bill and drivers license, they unlimited the account. I started selling alot of these things had about $600 in my paypal so I decided to withdraw $200. It ended up limiting my account after that. Then about 5 people decided to file a claim and seen as my account was limited it pretty much gives them there money back straight away. Got it unlimited after ringing them. Log into the paypal account, i'm in -$36.00 rang them up again and they said they cant do anything about it so I said to them close the account then if its going to work like that, they said you have to restore your'e balance first so I told them that I'm not paying 36 fucking dollars when your shit service has already ripped me of over $400. So they said they will be charging it to the credit card so I let them do that and then made a claim on the credit card to get it back. So paypal decides to ring me and this indian guy is having a bit of a go at me saying that this is very dishonest, etc etc so I just said you guys are a big fucking scam and you can't expect me to even give a shit after ripping me of out of all of my money. He said NZ police will be in contact with you etc, so I just said fuck of and hung up. So about a week later get a phone call from the Auckland police station over this $30 I explained it to them and the guy said that I will have to send the cash to America. I didn't do anything so a few weeks later a policeman comes round to my house! I was just like wth.. And tell's me that I have to send this $36.00 etc so I ended up sending them the fricken money and get a phonecall from them saying, thats why you doint mess around iwht people on the internet.

Pretty shit tbh, in a way if everyone was honest paypal would be excellent but we can't trust everyone I guess -.-

    Thats sucks.

I don't think using any online service is "good" but I haven't had any major problems with them so far.

    Paypal -.-

I was thinking about starting to use it again to sell some steam accounts since everybody uses it. I was thinking because I would only be getting $10-$60 payments that I would get them to claim and cancel but I will also get them to file the unauthorized claim and cancel that aswell. The only thing would be is paypal thinking it is suspicious but I can allways ring them and they will pretty much unlimit the account.

Post your suggestions./Should I? or should I not even bother dealing with that shit again?.

    Thanks ;)

there is problems with any online service, but the main problem is the shaddy people using them. Its easy on paypal or any online service to do charge backs and rip people off. People who use credits cards do this all the time to scam people. Paypal is good if both people can be trusted, but thats just the risk you take. If you want 99% security then buy in person.

Ive had a few chargebacks but from the amount of trades I do thats hardly something, Claim and cancel gets your account limited so I avoid that at all costs.

Stupid you had to pay and sounds like you had a shit time :(

I use and trust them, but they keep limiting my account:( and I have to put in a ton of info and it takes forever for them to unlock again. So it's kind of a pain... but, I trust them.

Chargebacks ftl :(, sorry for your loss, perhaps you could try another type of online payment that DOESN'T allow chargebacks, such as E-Gold.

I currently use paypal and luckily for me, I've only come across legit people, I wish you the best of luck with this, lol.

Btw, I live in NZ too, sup bro :p.
