New Pure

Ok so I made a new range pure. I'm now stuck on what to do....I started out and got him 56 mining which is how I got ALL MY MONEY. NO DROP TRADING AND NO BOTTING. I dont bot at all, I like to earn my levels myself. I'm getting the pure 50 range tonight and then I'm completely stuck. I have the items to wear for higher range for pvping, but I don't know what levels I should be getting. Should I do DT? Should I get 70+ range or turn and focus on melee? If so what should I train on and with what items?
DON'T BRING UP THE 2 DEFENSE. I KNOW IT'S LEVEL 2 AND IT WAS A MISTAKE FROM ACCIDENTALLY DOING LONGRANGE. I DON'T CARE IF YOU THINK I SHOULD RESTART, IM NOT GOING TO.
I would like your advice on what to do etc.
Here are pictures of the stats, bank, and what I'm wearing to train to 50 range. This will also be the start of a blog I will keep. I will update pics of bank, stats, gear etc. I'll update the range levels I've trained, mage levels, str levels etc. depending on what I decide to train.

Alright, first off Happy New Year everyone! I've officially decided to go obby maul/range and will keep this as a blog to inform you all of how I do. My range level is now 48, it hasn't increased much. I've been pking the majority of the last two days and have lost about 4 sets, but have pked about 200k worth of rune items (rune platelegs x 2, rune scim x 2, rune axe x 3) so i basically make up for what I lost. I will be getting 49 range with pking as I am very close, and will then head to rock crabs to finish up to 50 for that blue d hide (Yum). I will more than likely not start training strength until tomorrow.

I've gotten 50 range at rock crabs, even after dying there once when i went afk and got poisoned while i went to set up my 360. Long Story.
I've now decided another additional goal I will be making is 99 fletching. ATM I've got enough money for 80 fletching, and when I run out I will mine pure essence and keep going.

I say go obby mauler because they are the best!

I would say watch some pure pking videos on youtube and that might help.Range/Obby mauler would probably work pretty good, just watch some vids and see what you think would be best.

(pretty cool outfits too^_^ just needs robin n ranger boots for the green dhide one)

Thanks for all the comments so far. I think i'm going to avoid obby pure for now as I don't have enough cash for maul + necklace so it would be a bit pointless. I'm gonna follow water's advice though and go for gmaul as well as continuing to be a ranger...possibly get 40 attk and 50 or some strength for range/2h...keep em coming though, I can always be persuaded to change my mind + i need to know if I should train my mage or not and to what level

 

I would say either range/obby or karils bow/g maul.

there both pretty effective, and unlucky on the two defence

Only advice is to train your range 47-60 at rock crabs. Then 60-67 at green drags (if you want to make cash). If not 47-70 at rock crabs then go pk from that point. I've achieved 82 range from pking starting with 65 so its up to you.

 

Pretty good pure, the bank is so well organized

And about the defence...it doesn't really matter.

Just keep leveling range and you'll be really good soon.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I've decided to go obby maul ranger now seeing as how the majority of the replies were for obby. My first goal though is 50 range, and I'll keep updating the top as a blog now. Keep tuned.
