    Wow @ The Name Selling.

Im tired of people who sell names and the name is imacoolman, but they type it out as ImACoolMan so people buy it >.< Ffs, I feel bad for the idiots who fall for that. Its too tricky for all the 10 year olds.

There should be a rule where the names should be typed out as they look on Runescape.

Thats all I got to say.

    What do yall think?

Yea, it's a bunch of scammers that sell names in the first place. I think name selling should be removed completely. If names are going to be sold at least have the decency to show what the name appears.

By the way I am on my iPod touch right now :).

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

They would have to take screenshots in-game of the accounts name maybe? This would take a while if they are selling many names but it would be scam-free ;)

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

Why are you ruining someones business?

If you dont want the names dont buy them.
Dont go to the name section at all.

As for the screenshots thats gonna take a shit load of time.

    Just simply dont buy them.

Half right half wrong. Sure he shouldnt go to the name section. But screen shots dont take long at all. Just take screenshot Crop it and upload it. Takes less than a minute for me. Plus it is worth the time cause they can sell names for over 500k.

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

I think there should be a scrict rule, on selling "RARE" names only. Not names like

    I D DS F TW
    13 DDS3R 13
    IV BL0DB4R4GE

    but true Rares, like

    Verac
    Whipper
    Dragon
    Chocolate

etc. All the common names do is bump up useless threads who no one want to look at.

No one said you had to buy the names. It's just a business, along with all the other sales on this site.
    Retarded post is retarded.

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

I like the idea, I have a handful of rare names for sale myself, but the only problem with that are people are going to tell you that every name is rare. Quoting a memory:

"All names are rare! You can't make 1 b44a4g3 21 any more so its rare!"

    >_< If we could specify a requirement for the name to be rare, example less than 4 letters, multiple spaces in it, or some other criteria, that would really help clear up the selling. Maybe then they could protest and declare a section for OK names? o_O

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

    Nice idea
I myself see no point in buying names, are people so unoriginal that they have to buy a name?

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

    I like this idea aswell..

maybe declare a section for considered "rare" names. This would seperate the run of the mill names from the good names.

    --I support PG2's idea

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

It's not that they're unoriginal, they could have always wanted the name 'Dolphin' and then they find it to buy. There should be some certain requirements a name has to have, though. I support PG2's idea.

Your rule is a bit pointless, though. They should be smart enough to realize it won't all be capitalized when they buy it.

Another thing: Names that are like plural, paste tense, future tense etc forms of words people never use shouldn't be accepted either. Here's an example: http://sythe.org/showthread.php?p=4260597

    Wow @ The Name Selling.

In my name selling thread I suggest that people type them ingame, with the first letter capatalised so that they see what it will look like ingame. If people don't, it's their problem.
