Why is everyone always so worried about terrorists? I'm convinced it's all just propaganda to keep people afraid.

Sure they exist but in my humble opinion terrorism is one of the last things we need to worry about, the damage they cause is minuscule compared to other phenomenons... like say... oh.. War? or... Hunger? Disease? The possibility of nuclear warfare?

I'm not trying to instigate fear or anything, but I think in the case of 9/11 the consequences inflicted by us in retaliation (invasion of afghanistan, war in iraq, etc, etc) have caused 100x more damage on a global scale and only fueled the terrorists cause. Not to mention 9/11 was probably an inside job or at least preventable.

Sorry, but you just took some sentences and phrases out of the Quran. And you probably cut and pasted them from somewhere else too.
Do you know what the "unbeliever", "the infidels" and "them" are?
Yes, it's true allot of Muslims, if given the chance, really would kill people because of their believe. But I think that allot of them don't understand the true message in the Quran or even can't read themselves. Allot of Muslims get their information by going to a Mosque and listening to an Imam.
It's really the same that happened in the dark ages and actually even beyond until around the 19th century when a common boy would go to school to become literate.

how about; the media has brainwashed us so much that we think any non-nato country is a terrorist haven, and has inferior...EVERYTHING, But in my opinion Terrorist do not directly scare people the media does, they use the media as their weapon not planes or pipe bombs. they are motivated by the political and economical outcome not body count. like this, terrorist killed about 71 (last year) Americans and yet it is a MAJOR problem, the problem is us?

Everyone in my state is always worried about terrorists, but, I do live in NY, so it's understandable. It could be propaganda but I seriously doubt it, it's pointless in our society.
I do agree that they are the least of the problems that should be on any nations mind. Nuclear warfare is more of a relevant topic to discuss. You statements do have truth to them but they are nonconformist ideas.

The root of most terrorism is religion. The root of most wars are yet again, religion.

As long as different religions are on the world, there will be conflict. It it just happens that the muslim faith, has radical interpretations of the Qur’an.
