Thoughts on 2008

Looking back on this past year, do you think it was a good year or a bad year for you? What were your ups and downs? Anything exciting happen or was it boring? Or was it just the same?

For me it was one of the best years of my life, and almost in every aspect of my life.

-I finally graduated high school. I was happy because I transferred at the end of my junior year and basically had no friends my senior year lol. Plus I was just tired of the boring ass classes and the busy work and my parents.
-I got accepted into a good college. Althought I got rejected from my first choice, I was happy that I went to where I go now because of the campus, girls, party scene, and people in general.
-I started college in the summer and basically went out 3-4 times a week going clubbing and shit.
-I turned 18
-Got high for the first time in my life
-Bulked up to the biggest physical state I have ever been in my life
-Kissed a girl for the first time, yeah I used to be a loser lol
-Hooked up with a girl for the first time 2 weeks after I first kissed a girl
-Lost my virginity during the same month I first hooked up with a girl
-I thought it was one of the best years for music, some of my favorite rap and house songs came out this past year.
-Also this was a great year for movies, especially during the summer.

 

Pretty shit year for me.

Crashed 2 cars and a forklift.

 

Lol, is that some type of saying, or did you really crash a forklift?

 

Lol damn that sucks. I got into 2 car crashes too, both in a parking lot. One was my fault and the other was the other dudes. But I didn't crash a forklift lol.

 

It really sucked, was really good in the beginning but to the end it fell apart. To top it all off, I moved to texas just a few days ago and starting my senior year second semester at a new school.

 

Damn bro that sucks so much ass. I feel ya though, I started 2nd semester of my junior year at a new school, and then had to endure a long boring summer but got to fly back to see my old friends for a week and then endure the pain of leaving again and suffer another year until I started college. Look on the bright side though, at least it's only 1 semester.

 

That really sucks. IMO transferring during high school sucks (esp. when switching states too); you have to make new friends, you don't really know what you're getting into, you don't know the school's curriculum, etc. Anyways, my year was just dull and boring, but nothing horrible happened. I'm hoping that 2009 will be loads better and atleast a tad bit more exciting.

 

Well it was a pretty shitty year and what's even worse is that we got ourselves a black president.

 

It was alright.

I almost finished building my truck, but got strapped for cash in the process. Now I'm selling my truck, and -puts on flame suit- buying a 2008 Chevy Cobalt 5-speed, manual transmission. Some of you here may have seen my truck, some not. I just decided I finally want to build a tuner, it has been a dream for a while.

I didn't do "great" in school. Failed 2 classes. (Both were English)

I've met new friends, great friends.

I've started talking to a friend, who was my best friend, who I haven't seen in nearly 5 years.

I turned 18.

I quit riding bmx, after 6 years.

It's been a really crazy year, honestly. I look back and could never imagine things happening, that did.

 

That made my day. You just said it so nonchalantly and that, for me, was priceless.

I had a decent year. I don't really have the time nor memory to state all the good things but there were a lot. I would say this is one of my more prosperous years.

 

My grades have been Bi-Polar (what a surprise)
Pissed @ presidential election
Made up w/ my ex before he transferred (I'm a girl, not gay)
Went as a Volkswagon for Halloween xD. Didnt plan anything so it was a cardboard box >.>
Helped my class get 1st place in the homecoming float
Shadowed @ PSU all day. Made lots of friends & found choice of school I want to attend
IDK...year has been alright. Sad to say it sucked more than freshman/sophomore year..

 

damn you did alot this year lol...

uhhh this year... had 14 gf's, got in 17 fights (don't ask), made over 20k+ from hustling at the park, watched a white kid get his basketballs jacked, made sophmore/jv basketball as freshmen, made volleyball ( specifically for jumping), got a new puppy ftw... well those are the most interesting parts

Decent year really , not looking forward to 2009 though.

 

Pretty decent for me.

-Got my license first go.
-Still with my Gf for two years running and going strong.
-Levelling up on Rs like a bitch lol.
-Got a better job, way better.
-Which adds to got better cash.
-Which adds to more things.
-Undefeated in this Rugby League Season and Won the Grand Final, Flogged them in that too!
-Havn't got suspended from school this year for a first time

So yeah, good

thats about all i can think of

 

I really crashed a forklift... hahah. I don't have a forklift license and i was at work, i went to reverse the forklift into where it goes since it wasn't in its right spot and now the wall is missing a big chunk. The wall has a massive crack, all crumbling and shit lol, my bad . Forklift is fine though, thats one tough piece of metal lol.

 

I crashed by first real car (1984 plymouth gran fury). Boy do i miss that car! Some lady pulled out in front of me, and i couldn't swerve to miss her so i nailed her in the side. I bought my new car with the money from that.

This summer was the best, even though i got used, leading to christmas day which i will remember always.

As the time ends, i now realize who are my real friends. I am glad to see that my classmates don't care for drama as much as they did 3 years ago, when i realized it was all stupidity.

This year has seen the good's and bad's, but every year is like that. I lost no one that i love, i just watched one move 30 mins away.

 

It was an ok year, started high school in September, and this year I went to Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and Iceland

 

Best year of my life.

 

Well I didnt have set goals for the year.
The year went really fast for me, Went on some great holidays, best being a trip to Costa rica with mine and my Gf's family.
Also a new school enviroment started as I entered my GCSE's. Its been all great..tbh
Lost some good freinds who moved away.
Found out I have family in Sweden..
