A view on Racism.

I was just reading this and I was thinking that a lot of these comments make a lot of sense. No. I am not a racist, so don't take this in that way...

Anyway here it is:

Along with "Day of Color", and the "Color Kid" crap at my school.

I asked to go, and got denied.

I said I'd file a lawsuit if I couldn't, and I got in.

 

i think it makes alot of sense. i mean i'm not racist but it does bring up some good points.

Eh, everything said there is true.

Everyone can say what they want about white people and no one makes a peep. If we say something about another ethnicity we get bashed.

Its the sad truth, but to be honest I don't care. I say what I want and do what I want (Obviously up to a certain degree).

 

Yeah. You have a point. But as Finn was saying the problem is that there are way more whites bashing blacks(due to sheer population advantages in areas?) than the other way around. But still, I think you should have the right to say what you want.

They are all valid points.

You see black comedians making black jokes and everyone thinks their funny.

You see a white comedian making black jokes and they get called racist.


All this racist business is just bullshit. Everyones entitled to an opinion.

 

Well put. I don't get offended by being called a "cracker" or what ever, but I just think that other races shouldn't either. As you said, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

 

Just sad excueses for being racist.

So Carlos Mencia ( [sorry if the spelling isn't right] just using him as an example...), is or isn't a racist. He speaks his mind about every race including his own.

I'm sure some people consider him racist, but I don't. He makes fun of everyone, if you ever see his show he actually makes fun of Mexicans more often then anything else. Also as many of you up there said, he just speaks his mind. He doesn't do any jokes to offend anyone(of course there's really uptight people that will get offended).

Talking about the USA, whites are on the top of the economic ladder. Also, they don't receive any racism by employers when trying to get a job. There are more white people born into the middle class and the upper class then there are black people. There is a much higher ratio of blacks and hispanics in jail compared to the ratio of the population, than it is for whites. Overall, on average, quality of life for whites is much better than the quality of life for most races. And the people on top are usually the ones subject to hate. There really isn't a reason to not hate us. As for the white people born into poverty, that sucks ass, but you really can't do anything about the tendency of people to classify economic statuses by the color of ones skin.

Good points. I wouldn't say they don't receive ANY racism though, but it's more rare and less likely to be put to the public.

 

I really don't care, ******, is just another word for black people.

Cracker is another word for a white person.

It's funny because a african american thinks they can call us crackers whenever they want but when we call them ******s they get all mad. Negro or ******, it means the same thing.

I am not racist, I will occasionally use ****** or negro around some of my black friends when I am making a joke, and they just laugh and don't get offended.

And racism isn't just calling each other names.

If you say a black person jumps higher than a white person, its racism.

They can be good or bad comments about another race being superior to another one.

 

I've seen tons of bumper stickers saying black power, black pride, power to black people, I wonder what would happen if I drove down the street with a bumper sticker saying "white power"
