The movie eagle eye

I just got done watching the movie eagle eye and was wondering who all has watched it? I have included a link to see it on a site if you have not.

The questions i was wondering is :

Do you think there is something like this already implemented?
Do you think this would ever happen?

Is eagle eye the movie where this mysterious person knows every waking move of this one kid? Like they talk on the phone, and the person tells him what to do?

 

Yeah, there is a guy and girl following the commands of an unknown person.

1) No, I don't think there was anything like this. At least to my knowledge.
2) No, I don't think its possible that a person would even be able to do this. How would one have the ability too? I mean its just unrealistic lol.

 

You obviously have not seen the movie. There is no person controlling it.

Do you think there is something like this already implemented? all of it is possible technology,(expensive and near imposable programing) and all of that information received by "computer" was on a network, except the parts in the airport scanning the bags, power lines, and derailing a train

Whats impossible about it? There are gps's, along with devices that allow a person to be tracked through a cell phone right now. There are not however, ways anything can be heard through the cell phone with it being off though, to my knowledge.

It seems pretty reasonable to me.

The movie is amazing tbh...with that link i gave in the original post you can watch 72 minutes of it i think..thats more than half the movie.

This isn't true. The FBI is able to listen to you (if they wanted too) even while your phone is shut off. The only way to avoid it is to take the battery out.

Yeah, it's possible. I could go into all the ways people could spy on you but that would just make me look like a 'Mulder'

 

Right now I don't think there is a computer that is that fast in bringing up data like that on command. It looks like its watching every camera throughout the US and to simply bring up data would take awhile. Also the AI has the ability to make decisions like that to carry out its duty is gonna be a fuckload to program.
