Hey guys this thread is all about screamo. please post your opnions and fav screamo songs/bands i dont mind some convos like "screamo sucks balls" "fuck u it doesn't" etc. Just discuss. Here are some of my fav screamo songs:

Protest the hero - heretics and killers
Protest the hero - BloodMeat
slipknot - physco social (not really screamo).
flyleaf - im so sick (kinda screamo).
Legion of doom lolitas medecine (best song everr <33).
Silverstein - My Heroine (acoustic).


all of those are reccomended from me.

also you can post about killswitch engaged, metalica, Guns N' Rose, slipknot, korn and Lamb of god on the thread.

If you think metal/metalcore is screamo, please leave now and never come back. Metal(core) is a genre far above screamo.

first of all, protest the hero and bring me the horizon are pretty much the same but a lil bit heavier and i said on those other bands that you could talk about 'em too... i never said they were screamo... Protest the hero and bring me the horizon r screamo ... Btw that's a good song band and song name pl0x?

 

Silverstein is probably the only good ones.

What that other person said is right, most those bands aren't really 'screamo'.

Anyway, Legion of Doom is good, my "screamo" bands or i'd prefer the genre "post hardcore" bands are:

Silverstein
Scary Kids Scaring Kids
A Skylit Drive
Flyleaf
Escape the Fate (old stuff, not this new shit)

They are just my top 5, i know a ton of 'screamo' bands.

 

Screamo fucking sucks.

There's a fine line between Screamo and Metal.

Slipknot-not screamo
Children of bodom-not screamo
Avenged Sevenfolds FIRST album-screamo

I don't like Screamo that much, I mostly listen to Hardcore, Metalcore, and a little Deathcore.

I like Lamb of God, Protest the Hero, The Devil Wears Prada, Bring Me the Horizon, Underoath (also Hardcore, not only Screamo), Second Thief, and All that Remains.

 

But Protest The Hero isn't anywhere near screamo.
