What are good payment options for buying accounts?

I want to buy an account with all holiday items, and I'm wondering what payment option I can use. I hear a lot of scams and messed up things with PayPal. How does it work? Currently, I use CashU for my RS membership...

Can you offer alternatives? Preferably a method where I can buy a card or something irl and then recharge my online account.

If you're looking for a safer method, use either Mail or Western Union. The bad thing with paypal is that after they send you the money and recieve the item, the person can claim all of the money back. The way many people combat this, is they require the buyer to file a claim on the money, and then cancel the claim. This is because after a claim has been filed on an item, you can't file another one.

MoneyBookers would be my recommendation. PayPal is the most used, but as you're already aware, it's not quite safe.

You can always also go with mail.

 

I know theres a lot of paypal scams, but if you do use it ask for no credit card linked paypal. That clears a lot of the scams up

 

If I'm being completely honest with you, paying by mail and using an OMM is about the safest you can get.

 

mail is the most trusted id say cuz u have to give real details and stuff

 

Steer clear from paypal, unless you use the clam & cancel method. I highly recommended using Western Union or Mail order, these are a much safer way of trading.

Negative - Fees.

Money Bookers
Positive - Recover free. Easy to use.
Negative - Not available to people who live in the US.

E-Gold
Positive - Easy to use, money free.
Negative - People have lost money using this in the past.

Interac
Positive - scam free
Negative - Believe it canada only.

Mail
Positive - Harder to get scammed.
Negative - Can't be sure wether the person actually received the money or not (Use someone trusted.)

 

MoneyBookers or mail, moneybookers will go worldwide in 2009 anyway.

 

I use Paypal or Mail, but if you end up using Paypal, make sure the file a claim and cancel it, so they can't get their money back.

 

Most people here are posting thing's cater'd to SELLERS, as a buyer it doesnt really matter what you use to pay buty HOW you pay, so find a TRUSTED seller and then use whatever medium they wish for you to pay with. Also be warned BUYING ACCOUNTS IS EXTREMELY RISKY! people can always recover accounts no matter what if they have enough information and you never know if they really have enough or not.
