Why you cannot compare runescape to WoW

WoW has more players then runescape btw

 

Wow dominates they even have tv ads haahah...personally rs before the went and changed it all up.

 

pretty sure halo 3 is also an online game and at any time has 200k+ players online making it the most played online game.

 

I think you need to learn what a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) is. Halo is just a multiplayer FPS (and not a good one, at that). >_>

Why you CAN compare runescape to WoW:

They're both computer games
Both online games
Both (kinda) require monthly pay
Both contain PVP aspects and quests
Both are played by nerds (me included)
Both take forever to level up
Both contain some aspect of money making
Similar skills
Both are made using similar computer languages (I mean whats the difference between C++ and java )
Both are MMORPGs (whatever that means)... something like massive monkey orgasmic role playing game

First of all WoW completely annihilates runescape (compare bazooka with nuclear tips, and rocket launchers and all of that to a...knife). Runescape has more longlasting gameplay but WoW is just more widely favoured. Sorry if all our comments are hurting your feelings

 

RS blows, WoW rocks. End of story.

 

i think you're mostly talking about graphics..

it's just ignorant to say that you can't compare world of warcraft and runescape based on general gameplay, content, pvp, user interface simplicity, ect.

p.s. they are both mmorpg's, what did you mean by not in the same category, unless you meant (again i say) graphics wise

Runescape has more english speaking players, half of WoW's players are from China.

 

You're right, 50 cents a day is very little. But, the problem is, You have to buy it in 2-month increments, at least where I live, you do.

And, well done, OP. You're an idiot. Do you realise that EVERY point you made has absolutely nothing to do with the playability and overallfun you can have while playing each game? The coding language doesn't make it a better game. It being a different category doesn't make it a better game. And being on a disc definitely doesn't make it a better game. In fact, it makes it worse. To play it, you have to aquire a disc, ON TOP OF EVERYTHING THAT YOU'D NEED FOR RUNESCAPE. If you'd lag on runescape, you'd lag on WoW, so no difference there.

 

They both suck.
