Is being antisemitic wrong?

Im a Christian but I still don't believe it's wrong. I'm not saying it's right neither. If some people want to believe that let me... I'm not going to stop them or try to tell them their wrong or need to believe something different... But I don't want people telling my religion is wrong and not the right one.

 

What does your relegion have to do with anti-semitic feelings being wrong?

If it did, it would also proove them WRONG MORALLY.

What's the difference between a jew and a christian? Not believing in the new testement and worshipping idols? Not celebrating easter or christmas?

 

Let's say you have this close friend and he's never done anything or attempt to do anything to harm you. However, you are fully aware that he loathes homosexuals, and he has no reason except the fact that they're homosexual. Don't you feel like that is wrong? Personally, I think being antisemitic is wrong and the people who feel that way towards Jews have no acceptable reason to hate them.

 

you are also forgetting that jews bake their bread with the blood of young christian boys, they also have a taste for quality wine made from the blood of christian kids, they control the world ecnomy and uhh......did i miss anything?

i was being cynical, gave examples of classic stories of antisemitism used against jews, although the first 2 examples belong more to the middle ages, the 3rd example is very fashionable today for budding antisemites...you see, the jews caused the great depression in 1929, and also this one, because of their endless greed, etc

 

It's not wrong to hate anyone, as much as people want it to.
I think it's wrong to express your hate to someone, but nobody should have control over your state of mind, no matter how "wrong" you think it is.

But why would I take pride in the color yellow? It's disparaging to the Asian race, so it wouldn't matter to me. Even if I did take pride in the color yellow, yes, I would be angered. Mainly because I didn't ever say I wouldn't care and that everyone is entitled to their opinion.

 

Everyone is entitled their own opinion. However, as soon as they force their opinions on others or act in a disrespectful manner, it is completely wrong

There is no reason for you to hate a race of people, or even a religion. If a white guy stabbed your best friend, you would be pissed, (assuming you are indeed white), but if he was Pakistani, or Chinese, you would feel hate towards that race, maybe permanently. No one can stop you from feeling this hatred, and it's natural for humans to do so, but if you think beyond your hate, and just take it out on the person (which isn't a great alternative either, but a better one nonetheless), there would be a lot less hate int he world.
