Vista is not glitchy, Let me explain.

Windows Vista is Not glitchy AT ALL. Let me explain before you start saying "but duhhh maccc comercial said sooooo".
Well kid's here is something for you to chew on. Vista is not glitchy at all but here is what screws it up, YOU! the user try to use Windows XP, Windows 95 w/e software on Vista. So what does this do? It overwrites the binary code, The libarys of code on vista to fit XP or w/e's software. This of course screws vista up. So the real problem is the user and not vista.. Vista doesn't destroy computers, It doesn't ruin hardware... Whoever thinks that it is glitchy, Is a moron. Thank you.

Um, I pretty sure you cannot edit the binary code or the libraries on windows vista. It's still glitchy, you shouldn't release anything that can't run what is before it. Thats like..buying a 2009 model car and not being able to use the gas we been using for the past 20 years..See how dumb that sounds?

Why would you buy a new computer to use old software? That's dumb.

If the new 2009 car runs on special clean gas, or runs on efficient new cheap gas, that's everything but dumb.

Vista's are amazing. People who use them aren't.

Oh shit, this guy knows his shit. Look at his signature, he claims to have a 1GB internet connection. We should listen to him, he will teach us many wondrous things.

You're the moron! Everyone that programs already knows that 99% of the time, the problem is the end user, not the programmer! It would make all programmers lives easier if at least half the end users knew what they were doing!

Again, you are a moron! Running programs meant for other operating systems don't doesn't do anything! "Binary code"?! Do you even know what you're saying?!

Port 53 is for DNS, correct! That's the only fact in your signature! You can't find other people's IP addresses over Xbox live! Meaning you can't send anything through port 53 to them!

    http://www.auditmypc.com/port/udp-port-53.asp

    Read it!

    You're dumb!

Also, in your signature, that's your local area connection! You're dumb! That 1gbps is NOT your internet speed! You're dumb! That's the speed of connections, file transfers (not taking into account hard drive read/write speeds!), etc! You're dumb!

PS: This is my only sentence in the entire post without an exclamation point.

we all know that nothing is wrong with vista...only the people that are xp fanboys and choose not to switch because 1 of their programs doesn't work...which is probably fixed in sp1 now. but your attempt at convincing people is a complete fail, you make it seem like you know everything about computer haha there are people on this forum that have taken computer programming and stuff in college for a degree. your in the 80% class of people that think they know what their saying...

At least someone can appreciate OP's transcendental genius. Be careful not to overwrite any of the software libraries or binary code now.

Lmao what an idiot. Binary code, dude do you know what you are talking about? You're saying the software edits vista's binary code? You really shouldn't post crap if you have no clue what you're talking about.

Onto the "1 gig bandwith baby" LOL. Seriously? That made me laugh... Thanks

I do agree, people don't give vista what it deserves. I currently use vista on my laptop, and I am impressed with it. It is definitly a resource hog. However I have experienced a few problems with it, but it's certainly not as bad as people say.

I diasgree with you nnyt Windows Vista is bad. Windows Vista has so many bugs and glitches on it. When i got my computer which runs Windows Vista it was full of bugs and glitches. Then my brother who runs windows vista has been bug free or glitch free for a year now. Same exact computers, mine is brand new his is a year old. Explain that its fine on 1 computer but bad on the other? Also my computer when it was 2 days old when i got it had its FIRST BOOT FAILURE. It then a month later got the blue screen of death. Should tell you something. And no im not a dumb ass who downloads anything he sees when i got the blue screen of death i had filled 12 gigs from programs i use and my music.

i agree sorta that vista is not glitchy. Maybe at first when it was released it was terrible but microsoft has improve it dramtically and fixed most of the bugs in it.
It was just the first impression that everyone got that gave vista such a bad name.
Its sorta everyone's fault because they pushed microsoft to release vista even though they were already behind so they sorta rushed the beta phase and as a result bugs were left in the first release.
This is almost the case always with something new (not just operating systems). The first seems to have a few kinks but afterwhile all the kinks are worked out and you have a nice result.

p.s. 1gb bandwidth is crazy esp for internet connection. In my dorm I only recieve 50mb which is insanely fast and 5 times faster than the fastest road-runner. I have heard of 1gb+ bandwidth from OC (fiber optic lines) connections but those are like $10k/month and used by major corporations and research companies. I seriously doubt you have one of those. That is your local area connection (connection between your computer and router/modem) which is easy to get with a giga ethernet/router.

If one computer was full of bugs and glitches, while the other is not, running the same windows, What makes you believe it's the operating system? Their are many programs that where not ment to be on vista, could have been one of those affecting the system. If you are talking about when vista was first realeased, yeah it had plenty of bugs in it. However with the most current updates the system is definitly very stable.
