Well to start off, i'm just here to help. I do not gain anything from this. But from now on i will use my grand-exchange browsing skills to help you merchant items. Well this is how it works, i find a item and i show you the reason to buy lots of them, you do it. You wait a few days, and then you sell. Simple? Easy profit no hard work for you.

The first item we shall be merchanting is " Santa Hat ". Here is a photo of the item in the exchange, and a quick point on why to buy it...

doing rares, is good but I've been looking for items to merch lately to and haven't been successful, does anybody know some good ways to make money?

 

You could do snape grass, pure ess, oak planks, dragons. so many. But just to let you know i'm not focusing on just rares to merchant, i'm doing all and anything good to merchant. But as of now santa hat is a fantastic thing to put your gp into. So do it people =] Also I will be updating this when ever i can. I love to hear feedback! So bring it in

Exchange merching has soem bad points, which is pretty much the Jagex Price manipulation. Which is very unfair in my opinion, it stops amazing market trend which sucks.

 

X-mas was a factor of the upcoming rise. But if you go into detail and look into the past grand exchange monthly charts for the santa hat, you can see it has average up's and down's. and x-mas has just helped it rise. X-mas came and went fast, and there was no rise during x-mas but only in demand. Now the santa will rise. I hope you understand mate.

maxim, stick with it, should be a 10% rise in initial crash which should bring out a hefty profit =D

oh and best way to merch is by price manipulate the fuck out of fire runes =D

only like 15 bill in circulation, get a few mates to buy em up, price rises by 1 gp... fuck you got yourself a shitload of easy cash when market demand falls through =D

See, what happened here was after the large demand just all-of-a-sudden stopped the prices took a huge hit when no one was buying. Simple supply and demnd my lovelys.
