its rather interesting as i dident know they existed even tho im part the lgbt community as i am bi . and i think its awsome how they will do this and so on . but does this mean we can have all black games or all white games or does there have to be a line? rate hate and debate guys

I don't see the point. Homosexual people are allowed to compete in the global Olympics.

Probably because some homosexual people wanted to make them in response to market pressure. Go and make the straight games if you want to.

this is so wrong because its like racist. thats like if they had a white game, no black people allowed that could cause a pubic argument, so y have a gay games with no normal people allowed

 

When i seen gay games, i actually laughed, not thinking it was about gay people or anything but i thought it was games labeled gay etc. yeah i seem like an idiot but yeah. Black / white Sections that's fucked up, needs to be equal...

 

Eh, it's legal in the where the Global Olympics are located. I still don't see why homosexuals need to have a special Olympics mainly created for homosexuals. As for those homosexuals located in Egypt, I doubt they'd be able to attend the Gay Games without prosecution.

You could argue the point "it's not exclusively for homosexuals", but let's be realistic. I'd say a good 95% of the athletes are homosexual.

I don't have anything against the Gay Games, but still do not see a valid reason for them. All this does is expand the differences between homo and heterosexuals.

 

The regular Olympics isn't exclusively for straight folks, any athletes can enter, regardless of their sexual orientation/clothing style. If a straight person was denied entrance to the Gay Olympics, that would be flatout discrimination towards heterosexuals. Much like how it would be flatout discrimination to deny a homosexual his or her rights to enter the regular Olympics. All this does is expanding the barrier of inequality and prejudice between heterosexuals and homosexuals.

 

Games really shouldn't be made like this. It is a major form of discrimination between straight and gay people, which is only pushing the two apart. It is sad to see that homosexuals are still not fully accepted in society, but this will not help anyone even slightly.

I totally agree, It's outrageous. If the olympics said only straight athletes are allowed to compete there would be riots.
