Sorry if it's not true but it looks like you took an already made template and modified some of the graphics in paint...

You are off to a good start with the template. I have only three suggestions for now:

    1. Some of your padding needs a little adjustment. I would put a little space below the "Hello and welcome" line and fit the "News Update" bar a little more snugly around the date box.

    2. Try to keep your theme consistent. I noticed that your logo has round shapes, but the rest of your template is rather rectangular. You used a gradient on some of your bars, but a rough, blue image on your Navigation bar. I think that if you keep to one constant theme, your template will appear more professional.

    3. The black theme is harder to pull off professionally than themes that are more light in color. In particular, you might want to think about changing the blue to something less glaring. It can be done well, but it usually much harder.

Let us take a look at your CSS Sheet.

    This line:
    Code:
    #navvy>ul#navvylist li a { width: auto; }
Stands out to me, so I Googled it.

Turns out it's a rather popular, free, CSS/HTML template that you've edited with paint.

This link provides a tad more evidence. What are the odds that he has almost exactly the same template as the one you say you didn't take/download.

If you want a honest thought, I'd say create something of your own. It's much more rewarding then editing something you downloaded.

    Looks good.

Maybe don't have light blue against black though.

what do u think of my template?

maybe a few px's of padding under the news.

but I think it looks very good, and well done.

    expecially with only paint.

    good work, keep going!

Nice work morons. Try reading the thread instead of getting your post count up.

Editing in paint != Creating Template
