Well, I was kinda bored so I searched some stuff and I found that it was an interesting enough topic to see what people know about.

    Discuss, etc etc

hmm I read the whole thing, and I think this is interesting. It makes sence how this would work. That would be awesome if the developed something that would trigger that. For example a drink I could take while doing school for a better memory of it.

Actually, I would like to add that another way that time can slow down for the individual is, if the person travels faster than the speed of light and survives

I can see it in the future...

But seriously, it is a good study, if only time would have actually slowed down :p That would have made things fun.

Many things, even though in current days; thought to be impossible, will indeed be our future and destiny as humans.

this reminds me of this roller coaster; "the Griffen" it holds you up, right before you drop for 7-4 seconds (random time 4.00-7.00 sec) The first time I rode it I sat in the front row. and it seemed it lasted 10 seconds instead of ( mabey 7). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-fXL7dW__sE&feature=related SKIP to 1.30,

    memory.
time you dont remember never existed.
when a person dies, it is often believed that their entire life "flashes before their eyes." in reality, the person's entire life BECOMES a flash as the brain remembers that life as one event.

we all agree to call the sudden passage of a moment a "Second." i can remember a second. i can remember the ticking of the second-hand of a clock.

say a stray dust particle that is completely invisible to you passes you by in one femtosecond. did that femtosecond even happen? i dont remember it. did the dust particle exist at all? we all agree to call all of the phenomena that happen in a moment a second. fascination with slowing down time really seems to be a misunderstanding of how things work in the universe as well as ignorance in the methods organisms use to define things.

Actually when you're high or you can say a daze, time goes by a hell lot slower than usual. I read somewhere that Binural Beats help put you're mind into a natural high.

Technology is moving at a fast rate.Soon they will have Life extending method to extend our lives on average into the 100s or maybe even the 1000s.This is said to happen within the next 75 years so yeah something like this may be developed sooner than you think.

If you want to stop time just learn how to meditate. Time is a transcendent aspect of reality, you can see through it with enough practice. Or rather, beyond it. These scientists aren't discovering anything new... If you are present enough you become absolved by the cosmos into the moment, which is eternal and infinite in it's own respect. Time does not exist in this place, and you can catch a glimpse of it when you are forced into a situation which puts you inside the moment of the cosmos, as intense adrenaline is prone to do.
