1 Defence Pure's Guide to Medium BH crator.

Here I'll Show you the best and cheapest ways to make a effective setup in medium BH. I'll make some setups here.

Melee Setup
Torso - Anything, Monk robes give prayer bonus if you are smiting.
Legs - Anything, Monk robes give prayer bonus for smiting.
Ring finger - Ring of recoil (Hits you're target for 2 every time he/she hits you.), Carry two because they do run out after a certin time.
Amulet - Amulet of strength (gives highest strength bonus in game out of all the amulets)
Shield - Zamorak book gives prayer bonus or Iron defender it gives strength bonus and better stats then zamorak book.
Weapon - Whip, Dragon scim, Rune scim, + DDS or G Maul
Boots - Climbing boots (give a strength bonus).
Helmet - Anything.
Pots - Super strength and super attack, + two pray pots if using pray.
Food - Sharks, Tuna potatos, or Manta rays ( Monks wont cut it in medum BH)
Gloves - Mith gloves ( NOT THE ONES YOU BUY) Mith gloves are obtained by the Recipe for disaster quest, they are REALLY cheap for the bonus's they give. or you can use a combat braclet, It is just as good but it is noobish and expensive to keep replacing.

Melee / Mage SetuP
Torso - Ghostly robe
Legs - Ghostly robe
Ring Finger - Ring of Recoil
Amulet - Amulet of magic or Amulet of strength (You're Choice but it depends if you are going to be maging more or meleeing more.)
Shield - Zamorak book or Iron defender (Book recommended)
Weapon - Anicent staff, Whip, D scim, Rune Scim, + DDS or G Maul.
Boots - climbing boots
Helmet - Ghostly
Pots - Super strength, Super attack, Magic pot, + 2 pray pots
Food - Sharks, Mantas or tuna potatos.
Gloves - Mithirl Gloves ( Not ones bought from G.E)

Mage / Range Setup
Torso - Ghostly top
Legs - Ghostly robe or black d hide bottoms (or switch inbetween casting)
Ring Finger - Ring of recoil
Amulet - Amulet of magic or Amulet of accurecy (You're Choice but it depends on which you are doing more)
Shield - If you have an extra hand left, Zamorak book)
Weapon - Magic bow, Rune c'bow.
Boots - Climbing boots
Pots - 2 pray pots, Magic pot and a range pot.
Food - Sharks, Mantas or tuna potatos.
Gloves - D vam braces, or mith gloves but you don't need mith gloves.


TIPS!
My runescape name is r4mb0 r4ng3 and I have 400 BH kills, It's on the highscores if you don't believe so I DO have BH experince.
Tip 1 - 1 defence pures do not own ANY other pures, It's a fact I'm sorry.. So do not try to fight anyone who has over 1 defence if they are pure.
Tip 2 - Count on the fact that if you see some level 76 with full rune and is not a pure he is not using sharks and is usually on cheaper food. Best tactic is to just farcast him and spec him out.
Tip 3 - If The loot is not over 50k and it gave you a pickup penalty threat do not take it just ignore it, it's not worth the hassle. (the fact that you have 1 defence makes you a huge target etheir way.)

Yeah, now people like me is converting to zerker or barrows. No point in being 1 def.

Just to clarify, recoil rings return one tenth of the damage recieved, i.e: you're hit 2, you return 1 damage.
You're hit 11, you'll return 2 damage.
It's always rounded up.

They break after dealing 40 damage and you can find out how much your current 'charge' is by "operating" them on the equipment screen.

Yea, 1 defence pures ARE fail.. But I wrote this because there are some still out there and I can write it because I have lots of PVP runescape experince.

in pvp 1-20 def pures are pretty good, the thing is to get attack very high and then you'll do fine, also add that if you pick up a penalty and have good (43-52) pray then you should use sara pots, they heal you and give you prayer, so you can protect longer and heal at same time, but note that these are not replacement for food, unless ur x-ferring, its good to keep in mind that you have 5-10 pieces of food left over.

 

they are called sara brews not sara pots. they give hp and def not hp and prayer. they also bring down all other stats. people just bring them so if you made a kill then u have lots of extra hp and def.regularly, if your gonna use them you have to combine them with super restores
