The way Moderators are selected

Well, I posted this in a feedback thread complaining about how some Mods were picked, and I think this could solve it.

 

Good idea and it would make the selection of mods much fairer .

 

Question.

Why do you care?

 

I think because he does not want unbanned as a mod.


Really... Does it matter? It someone is a bad mod they will be demoted. If they are a good mod, everyone that hates them will get over themselves...

 

unbanned would be shit at mod, no offence.

 

I support. Seems way more fair that all moderators get a say.

 

Unb4nn3d shouldn't have gotten mod, that's why.

I don't mind unb4nn3d, as I have stated I think we should give him a chance at being a Mod.

It's just so the Staff come to a decision about it, so you don't have arguments between staff after the promotion, and then a possible demotion. That's just false hope.

And Nathan, I care because I care about Sythe. The better Sythe works, the better it grows.

 

Because we want sythe to be run as smoothly as possible.

 

I belive thats a good idea.. About how mods should be picked but with the mods we have now no need been a playa hater on em they where picked and if they fail we all know they will be demodded so get over it guys.

 

I believe this was how the old system worked with globals and such.

 

Is it just me or did unbanned have around 400 posts like 1-2 weeks ago and now he has 1k+?

On another note, it seems that between 22.12.2008 - 24.12.2008 unbanned made 200 fucking posts, is this for real? Hahahahaha...

 

Unbanned is doing wonderfull work.

I've stated about 5 times now that I do not mind unb4nn3d as a mod, and that he should be given a chance to proove himself, and I think he has accomplished that.

I think this would impliment a more "overall" agreeing to someone as mod, so Finn doesn't have to be embarrased if a "MatthewGor" happens again :laugh:

 

Thought this was how it always worked because they do vote on a lot of things. =S

 

just let the staff worry about this

 

Maybe a huge vote to clarify things but dont let it all rely on that the final decision is obviously down to leaders... maybe a high class vote like trusted members +
