Hello. Before I start off I want to say this is a serious topic! In no way do I intend to be sexual/perverted, or whatever you want to call it. I will be keeping close eye on this thread, and any stupid childish posts, that have NOTHING to do with the topic WILL BE REPORTED!

Ok, I just want to know what your view is on masturbation? Do you think it is morally ethical? Do you think that its a natural normal thing to do? Or do you think that Masturbation is wrong, and should be done until you get married? Im very interested to see what Sythe thinks about this. Also, just as a side note, I was doing some research to find out what is the "normal" amount of times per day/week. I couldn't get a straight answer, if you could try and help me on that it would be great. So, to sum it all up, your answering these two questions:

1) What is your view?
2) What is the "normal" amount if you do masturbate?

 

I believe masturbation helps stop alot of sexual urges, but I rarely masturbate.

I'd say a normal amount would be 1-2 times per week, maybe?
It also helps "clean out the pipes", so yes, I do see it as natural and healthy.

 

masterbaution in my opinon is normal But. its a waste of time. its better to seek out a partner and have sexual intercourse. masterbating does not give any time of REAL pleasure. just stressing my views.

Masturbation is natural for teen's, and adults, in no way is it discusting, or bad.
There is NO normal amount to masturbate for a teenager/adult.
They are allowed to masturbate as much as they feel is nessesary.

 

I agree with all of you, I personally believe its a natural healthy thing to do.

^To be completely honest I masturbate about 4 times a week, sometimes 5 if Im stressed out.

Masturbation is generally a healthy practice, it helps to relieve stress among other things. A lot of religious institutions try to make you feel guilty about it, when really it's natural.

I personally choose not to masturbate anymore simply because it makes me feel drained, but to each their own. Just make sure you never feel guilty about it, because that's what is really damaging...

 

I don't agree with you. You say that it doesn't give any real pleasure, and I must ask, have you ever masturbated? I ask this because of all the times I have masturbated it has been the best feeling in the world. It gives an immense amount of pleasure, unlike any other.

100% Agreed. They try to tell you its wrong, and that G-d doesn't want you to do it. I personally do not listen to that. Thanks for brining this up Ugh, I forgot to mention this.

Of course, it's perfectly healthy and natural.
When I have school I do it maybe once a day or every other day. Since it's vacation and I have more time on my...err...hands maybe twice a day.

I'd estimate that I do it twice a day - every other day, really whenever I have an urge and an opportunity.
