OpenOSRS removing many plugins

Welp, I was in discord just a minute ago and saw the announcement that OpenOSRS was removing many plugins and would not be maintaining a shitload of them as well. So, I asked:

"What is the draw to use OpenOSRS versus runelite if this is these plugins are being taken out?"
The response I received was "Use your brain retard" from one of the mods.

So I looked back at the announcement again and still had the same question...So I went back to the discussion area. Many other people had similar concerns, which were met with "Reeeee", "retard", and many other colorful insults from the mods... So, I asked "your customers come in here and have questions about why we should use your product, your response is to insult them? I still would like to know why we should continue to use OpenOSRS rather than just go back to Runelite."

Yes we make millions off our ad revenue, and everyone who uses our client aka "product" is a customer.
I think anyone reading this can understand why you where called a retard.
You where unable to read a simple announcement and because of your ignorance you ended up getting banned. All of the removed plugins you can still use. I'd like to see if you switched to RuneLite yet.

 

And all I wanted to know was why, or maybe get a little bit of further clarification. Yeah, maybe I am a bit slower than some people, but to receive hostile and shitty responses to pretty reasonable questions is pretty silly. And no, I haven't switched. I don't want to switch. I would like to be allowed back into the discord so I can keep up on random news...I just know not to ask basic questions at all now :-\ I didn't break any rules. I just got censored.

 

the announcement happened three weeks ago. if you are that ignorant you cant read something that gets linked constantly over a span of 3 weeks, then tagging admin role and flaming everyone who tried to respond helpfully, you deserve to be banned.

 

Except I didn't tag anybody at all, and I didn't flame anyone. Can you show me anywhere that I did?

Those were LITERALLY the only two posts I had the opportunity to make before I was banned.

My point is being highlighted here. I am simply asking questions and trying to find out information. The response I receive is get shat on and gas-lighted.

Again...I have done nothing wrong, yet am being punished for asking simple questions. Feel free to post proof to the contrary.

 

Well, at least I know that I didn't do anything actually wrong here.

I didn't see the announcement until 2 days ago, had some questions, and got banned for asking them in a polite manner. Here I remain mostly civil, despite misinformation by dethbeam above, and being banned for not understanding something. It is what it is, I guess...

I would like to have my ban reconsidered, but I don't expect it to be.
