Black Market

Scammers would NOT GTFO. They would spam their way up, or just pm people instead of posting since they could not...

 

Although I have less then that ammount of posts (A LOT less) I agree. Although it should be 200 posts or 2 months on Sythe. It would be a good way to prevent about 50% of the scamming.

Since they would have no access to the BM they couldn't know what people were selling that way they couldn't PM people about the deals. And not everyone has the pacience to spam 200 posts and the ones who do will be notticed by the mods.

 

I HIGHLY DISAGREE. You probably haven't spent enough time at all in the black market to find a number of leechers are high quality salesmen and not out to scam anyone. There's abosolutely no reason to weed them out of the loop simply because of post count.

Plenty of high quality people find their nich in that section right away. Why should someone have to post elseware before they can find that nich?

 

the original suggestion was that they can not post, not that they can not read. not reading CAN NOT WORK. It would make sythe lose HUGE AMOUNT of money, so it will not happen.

 

I would agree if I was 200+ post but I'm not... I just think we have to have a recommendation from a sythe user and if we screw up they get in trouble to...

I get what your saying but there some of us like me that aren't scammers... I don't post alot just come to trade and I already have some vouches...

Plus if you had to have 200+ post all the other section be filled up with spam and pointless post...

I think you have got to apply to join the blackmarket then an mod accepts it or not

 

The mods do not need more work, so mods accepting people would fail.. also who would they accept and who would they not?

 

I agree, but they have to been registered for a month, atleast, like 100 post count, some people do not post alot and do not scam.
But this wont probably stop all, because they can still browse through and contact them through aim/msn. This wont stop alot.

 

This would be great, but think of all the spam people would make to get to see the Black Market.

 

I can create at least 20 Sythe accounts and hour. I wait 1 month, scam with the first one, get banned. Change my ip. Scam with 2nd one. Get banned. Change my ip. Ect. Ect. Ect. Thats why that does not work.

that they have SOME dedication in the forum./

I have had a few good trades with people that has under 100 posts.
I was actually smart enough to ask for details on the account and such. I bet my ass the people getting scammed accounts didn't do that.
It's their own problem, really.

 

This would probably lead to more phishing attempts around the forums...

 

I support, make scammers work a little before an attempted scamming.

Maybe you have to be on the community for a short while? (like 2 weeks or so with a certain amount of post like 50) if it was around 200 post there would be spammers up the wazoo.

 

The only way to banish scamming is to allow it.

I love the suggestion, the fact that people who have only just joined with no rep are trying to sell things makes people worried. Also, like 80% of scammers have a very low post count.

If people make good rep here and get to know people, then that shouldn't make them want to scam.

Some people just need to learn to stop scamming because scammers are just f..ktards >_<
