Remember the Alexander the Great example? The anecdotal evidence for his existence comes from an area stretching from Macedonia to India, all from people who probably never met. The anecdotal evidence for Jesus's existence comes from a small group of people who all came from the same area. It's not quite the same quality.

I'm not sure whether this can even count as an argument. Belief that God is chasing us presupposes a belief in God, which is exactly what you're trying to prove.
