But I don't see how he scammed..

From what I can see, there is conclusive evidence of a scam here.

Oops u fail constantly tried to pursuay Smd I Skill into going first, as Oops u fail claims that they have no reasoning in scamming a 'pathetic' $40.00, when they have indeed held over $300.00 worth of GP on RuneScape. I don't see where a connection can be made by this, but then is evidently shut down in the end when the User receives the information they wished to acquire, and block Smd I Skill accordingly.
