How to pass "Invalid Window for Pin"

First go to www.runescape.com
and go under the category "Help"
and select Customer Support.


You should see this screen.
Select what payment you used to get the pin.


You now should see something similiar to this.
Click "MY pin doesn't work. What can I do?"


You should now see a screen similiar to this.
Click "Submit a billing query".


You should now see this screen.
Enter your email, your payment type, your message to jagex.
I have the message you should send to them below.
You should change it a little bit though to fit your needs,
which you will see, is common sense.



Message in the space:
Dear Jagex, I just recently bought a PIN by SMS/PBP.
I tryed to make it work but I just kept getting this error,
"Invalid Window For Pin"
I do not know what to do!
Please can you activate my pin for me for my account?
I would greatly appreciate it if you would activate the pin on my account.

Ton's of people always wonder how to get past this.
Now they can.
A guide is better than no guide at all, isn't it?

 

Um how does this work? As you could be lying as u didnt even give the pin number

 

If the Guide is not informative to the extent that it is useful, then it is not.

There is a place where you submit a Billing Query about the Pin itself, in which you enter the Pin Number, your Phone Number, and various information required.

Sorry but for your "passing" "Invalid Window for Pin" you have choosen bad country if you get that message , u dont need to contact support in this case , its ur fault that u cant get right country for your pin

 

Lately ive got a bunch of invalid pins i payed for :S

So what happened after you submit it?
I think this will only apply if:
1 you bought the pin yourself on your own phone (required the real phone number)
2 You did really purchased a pin from your own phone (or phone that you know)

Because if not, they can track if you made the transaction. Or if the number matches the pin number. Don't you think?

 

Yes, this has worked for me.
I was buying a pin from someone they gave me a pin number and it didn't work.
I had their phone number and everything, I asked to keep the pin incase i got it to work and then i contacted billing support asked them to activate it for me..
and bam, free 30 days.

 

Isn't this just Stealing, since you've never purchased a pin?

 

In that case, you'll have to need all the infos to get free members then. I doubt anyone is going to reveal that since it is their privacy.
