Quick Question

So I was going to do an account swap. At before we even started I said my account had recovs, and the buyer was fine with that.

We got a MM (inventor) and I told him that my account has recovs. Then he started calling me a scammer, and I was making a scam attempt.

I read the rules and it said nothing, I was going to provide the recovs, and everything.

Is selling an account with recovs aganist the rules?

All because I was trying to sell an account with recovs! That can not be right...

 

I could not find any rules that say you can't, but I'm sure as an MM, he was very cautious about the fact that you have recovs. If you were to scam, he would be at fault (unless another agreement happened before the trade) and that is something that an MM shouldn't have to worry about. For the sake of the buyer and the MM, I would just delete the recovs.

 

Thanks, but I liked how he said he was going to report me for attempt scam. I understand if he would have just said no deal because he don't want to risk it, but he threatened to report me and ban me.

 

If done properly, he should've just shut you down and told you that he would MM the Trade after you had successfully unset the Recoveries, or asked for the Recovery answers and do so himself. I think Inventor acted a little unprofessional in this case.

If the buyer and seller both agree to buy/sell the account with recoveries then it shouldn't matter.

 

Selling an account with recoveries questions is not against the sythe.org rules, but for a better chance of selling the account, I would advise you to remove them for security purposes.
