Get rid of the whole "UE" section, let people post guides, but a special rank for writing a guide? Just add it to the off topic section, and allow Mr. Nathan' and them to moderate it.

 

The UE sections needs its own section because it has so many sub sections. You do not get a rank for writing a guide, you get one for showing you are smart, helpful, a good writer, nice, ect. The amount of work required to be a HUE is not quite as much as a mod of another section but it still has loads of work behind the scenes, and forcing another mod to do something that he may not want to do is dumb.

 

Or you could simply have ONE sub section off it, feedback.

It really doesn't have to be too in depth.

 

There is a HUGE amount of guides in the UE section. It is divided into may sub sections to keep these guides organized and easy to find. I even think it needs more sections as some have way too many guides in them. Then there is where people post guides to get judged. If the UE's / HUE likes the guide, they are supposed to move it into the right UE section, except many guides just sit and do not get moved... Thats the main reason the HUE has any mod powers at all. There is also a private forum where they vote on which guides are good enough(I think they do and if they do not they should). Its a section all of its own, and too much work for 1 person that has a large section already.


I think most of you who want the UE removed have never visited the UE section before this shit with Dark.

Are the UE's now. They were all there back when I was a UE and I know each of them personally. While I definitely wouldn't say that any of them are bad or they wouldn't do a good job as HUE but I believe that R33l2r3al will do the best job.

R33l2r3al has been there the longest time and has been very dedicated to the form. He has never left like Rawr Im Phat or venom1 had. The guides he written were written with intelligence. He is very active in the forms and has terrific ideas on how to improve them.

You can't really go wrong with picking a HUE here, none of them are bad. There has been plenty bad ones in the past but gladly there are none now.

 

We actually need more UE's Haha. I never knew there was only 4. No one is being invited and there are a few deserving people.

 

Thank you. I agree with you that none of the choices (if they pick from the current UE's) are bad choices. We all have our own strengths and weaknesses.

Hopefully with the installment of a new HUE, we will be able to get the team going again. There are plenty of ideas floating around the UE that I think may help get this going. :nuts:

Ayy SuF weren't you a UE at one time. Or at least you applied right because your name sounds very familiar.

 

Ok guys, just to keep you informed, this is being considered currently, and we're aware you need a new leader. However, what Head User Educators are going to be able to do is being specifically rethought through and reestablished.

Why not make Cfrey or any other current mod that is familiar with UE head since he already has mod it'll be just like Pen .Most of these kids just want the tittle..

 

I had talked to some about Cfrey becoming the HUE, but as Finn has stated, the Mod Powers of a HUE may be limited to a certain point. Cfrey could, however, just have the HUE Rank tacked on, such as Darkspark being both a WoW and Market Mod. I'm unsure of what their decision shall be, but nevertheless I shall not be disappointed.

Well, now that they are all asleep...

In retrospect to the recent event in the User Education Section, I have been thinking that there should be no Head User Educator for a while. Is one really needed, or does it just have to be overlooked from time to time? As seen from The Dark, he really didn't post that often in the User Education Section, and was hardly online. I would think that Sythe should have no HUE for quite some time, until it is called that one may be needed. Yes, Rawr Im Phat, R33l2r3al, you're great guys, but is there really a necessity of fighting for that Modship Rank, without even being certain of getting it?

It is also quite irksome that since The Dark has been demodded, both Rawr Im Phat and R33l2r3al have been picking up their activity in the User Education section considerably. I'm not saying that this is wrong, but can you justify exactly why you are trying to be so active, if not indeed trying to seize that HUE position of 'power'?

And for R33l2r3al, I know that you are naturally active in the User Education Section, as well as Rawr Im Phat, and rate / comment Guides quite regularly. I know you both want the position, and it's quite evident in this Thread, but don't you think it'd be better if you all just not think about the position at all, as if you did a week ago? In doing so, you may sit back and watch the events unfold before you, and maybe a HUE shall be indeed chosen.

Sorry if you hate me, but that is my 100% honest opinion reguarding this situation at hand.
