legalize marijuana...=D

Respect your body? What about cigarettes? You only have to be 18 to smoke them and they are 5x worse than marijuana. Don't believe it? Look it up.


The facts that the government throw out at every non-smoker are just bullshit. Marijuana may be worse than cigarettes but think about it. The average smoker smokes 1 1/2 packs a day. You're saying that smoking one blunt is equivalent to that? That's outrageous. Marijuana isn't smoked excessively like cigarettes which makes it more dangerous to smoke cigarettes period. Also, the addiction for cigarettes only takes about 10 packs and you're hooked, not a lot, but still have the need for a cigarette. Marijuana, on the other hand, is nowhere near that for being addicted. I don't have facts but I know that, myself, has been smoking ganja on and off for 2 years and I never even came close to being addicted. On and off, in my words, pretty much means maybe 1-2 times a week. I don't abuse it, like most people, I find it enjoyable to smoke here and there. I never get the urge to smoke or get depressed for not smoking it. But, onto the legalization part, I feel it shouldn't be legalized. Maybe, if anything, it should be discriminalized in every state which says you can only get a fine for possession. If it was legalized, it would be even more abused. It's a more interesting process of smoking when you have to look for people to sell and then have to be shady about smoking so you don't get caught. This is fine. I'd rather have tight ass weed too than what the government put out. Anyways, on a final note, if you have never smoked in your life, please don't bring you and your shitty facts you found off the internet here onto a legalization thread. Please, state your opinion and then gtfo. No one wants to hear your bullshit stories about your mom smoking it for 30 years and now she's retarded.

If ganja was legal, it would be grown for commercial use, which means it would be crap. At least when it's illegal there are many different strains.

As a fellow pothead (since the age of 14) i'd like cannabis legalised, not that it bothers me it being "illegal". Illegal or legal i smoke it regardless!

Reason i'd like it legalised, more cannabis for your money, as dealers can charge what they want take it or leave it.

Since its illegal I think that drinking should be and smoking should be also.

Also the only reason its illegal is because of tax... I mean the only reason drinking and smoking is illegal is because it is alot easier to buy in a store instead of grow it and make it...

Also I think the government should just give out certain permits to people who can grow it and sell it and that why they can tax it and people who don't not have a permit can be fined/jailed if caught growing or selling.

I believe if you got a drunk person and a high person and they were on a virtual driving test the high person would always come out the winner.

Marijuana is also a natural herb... So saying marijuana is illegal is like saying God made a mistake....

Marijuana also probably have save people from deaths as it prevents some cancer.

Marijuana is not a drug... Notice all drugs you have to mix chemicals together to get the drug (Ex. Cocaine, Cigs, Dip, Drinking)

I believe that marijuana is on prohibition like alchohol was. One day it WILL be legal. If you compare the impardness that alchohol causes to marijuana, marijuana seems much more safe. It's your decision to smoke it or not, and it's not addictive, what's so bad about it?

Why legalize it? Their are NO benefits in 'mainstream' marijuana only potentially harmful consequences unlike medical marijuana which 'atleast in the past 5 years' is made specificaly as is any drug the emphisise the benefits.
