    War in Iraq

Yea, and Palestine is so much better? Suicide bombers attacking innocent people, yea... you guys are real angels. Don't forget that you hate Israelis for being Jewish, not that there is anything wrong with that. *sarcasm*

But anyway, I feel Bush made a touch decision to go into Iraq since Saddam wasnt cooperating. Better to be safe then sorry is my motto (or shoot first ask questions later). It's not like Saddam was a good leader anyway...he killed his opposition, starved his people, drove his economy down the drain, committed genocide on the Kurds just because he didn't like them, oh and dont forget the good ole 1 on 1 sessions in the interrogation rooms *sarcasm*.

But really, we in the United States are never happy. We are happy when were at peace, then when something like 9/11 happens and threatens our whole National Security, people cry out for blood. No matter what the President or our politicians do its a lose-lose situation.

People ask, "Why Iraq?" Well let me see, I mentioned the stuff Saddam was doing to his own people above, he wasnt cooperating with the UN Weapon Inspectors, and for all we know he COULD have had WMDs. If we hadnt gone in there we would have never known and would have always thought about it in the back of our mind. "Oh, I wonder if Saddam is going to launch a dirty bomb at us today..."

If Saddam had complied with the UN we would have never gone in...Syria wasn't complying with us and Weapons Inspectors, but they were anxious to talk after they saw how we destroyed Iraq in a few weeks. Not that they stayed that way, Israel ended up bombing a reactor anyway....but thats another story.

Who ever asked what 9/11 had to do with Iraq? Well, Iraq was harboring terrorist training grounds. Just like Saudi Arabia and Pakistan. Although we wont attack SA because of oil, and maybe we will attack Pakistan if they keep jerking us around.

    War in Iraq

I believe Bush did the right thing if he didn't send troops to Iraq think about how many more attacks we would have on the USA. I mean people in Iraq are blowing there self up and there own kind so they would blow us up if they could which they would be able if there wasn't no troops in Iraq.

    War in Iraq

the war in Iraq was a mistake, seeing there were no weapons of mass destruction found in Iraq, and there are strong suspicions of the whole evidence to it being fabricated in the first place.

there is no relation between Iraq and 9/11,

9/11 was caused by an islamic Terrorist organisation / Some say the government did it (i dont know much about the topic so i wouldnt give an opinion)

the War in Iraq was allegedly because of Weapons of Mass destruction that were never found, and very likely because of Oil / The USA government not liking Sadam Hussein (and i didnt like that bloke either)

Bambino- anyone can get pictures and propaganda videos and claim the other side is evil, it just goes to show how the suffering created by war is used cynically to play the Victim.

now, lets look at the images you provided-

you have a picture of 2 israeli soldiers taking pictures next to somebody they killed, the Photo does not give us much information about the dead guy, so we can interpert it in many ways, of course YOU want it to be interperted as a poor dead civillian, but the picture doesnt show much.
i can provide plenty of images that i can pull out easily enough that show the Palestinians in the same light, but i dont, because i have the basic understanding that the reality of war creates that kind of situation, which exists on both sides. i am sick of Palestinians playing the eternal victim.

now, as for the other photos- you showed dead children.

this is another good example of how easily you can portray what YOU want in these pictures- you are omitting the fact that the Palestinian "freedom fighters" use their own civillian population as human shields, making it inevitable that civillians WILL die

of course, the Palestinians then run to the Trigger-happy western media and rave endlessly about how the israelis keep killing little kids in their bed, and what else.

as for the Photo with the little girls drawing on the army rocket- so what? they feel it's their own personal revenge against those who bombard their cities with Qassam rockets every day, for the past several years- war creates that kind of reality, and again you show that photo because YOU want it to be portrayed in a way convenient to you.

of course, you omit the fact that us Satanic, Devil-worshipping, Child-molesting israelis are providing healthcare for palestinians in Gaza- since the Hamas takeover of Gaza (a party that calls for our eradication, which was voted by 70% of the palestinians) we still allow palestinians from gaza, the same people who voted for Hamas as their leading party, to be treated in Israeli hospitals, in fact, over 1000 palestinians were treated in israeli (=satans, i believe?) hospitals since the Hamas takeover.

also, in the most hypocritical line i have ever seen, you said "no suicide bombing happened since 2005" can you detail why? because israel built a defensive barrier (which i believe you would prefer to call an "apartheid" wall) and since then, miracously, suicide bombing stopped!

conclusion? suicide bombing didnt stop because palestinians decided it was too barbaric, it's because we dont let them do it anymore, so now they use Qassam rockets.

and dont get me wrong- they keep trying, aslthough their chances of sucess are very low right now

but still, pro-palestinian "human rights" activists say that the "cruel, vicious, racist...[yadayada] APARTHEID WALL should be REMOVED.

    ........funny people.

as for the videos- im too lazy to view them at the moment, but i will when i get the time to do so.

    War in Iraq

i will when i have the time,

as for the big image you showed- it goes again to show how pro-palestinian the western media could be- the great and glorious Hamas uses it's own population as shields all the time, but it never gets on media, because it doesnt serve their agenda to present the poor palestinian victims as the bad guys.

but when israeli soldiers do it (unjustified, i agree, but nevertheless an isolated incident) the Media is enraged and hell breaks loose.

also- i am familliar with that story, and shortly afterwards these soldiers were punished by Millitary court (which obviously got little to non attention from western Media) and i challange you to show me a case where the Hamas trials it's people for using their own people as human shields.

i'll go around with a palestine flag around my neighburhood if you can show me that, heck, i'll even film it and send it to you for your entertainment.....because i know you'll never find an example of it, because the Hamas encourages the use of Human shields

EDIT- methinks we need to start a thread about the Israeli-palestinian conflict, instead of going off-topic on other threads

unfortunately i tried making a thread like that before but hardly got any comments, so it died

They detained him in this easiest way possible.

See how relax he looks? If he was going to be a meat-shield, don't you think he'd be atleast a little tense?
Being detained is exactly what anybody should get, if not being killed.. for throwing rocks at troops/ convoy.

    EDIT:

Finally read the headline.. they detained him to prevent his friends from throwing stones.
That's not using him as a human shield..

    War in Iraq

It seems to me this is what happened.

We invaded AFGHANISTAN looking for Terrorists/WMDs
    They didnt find jack shit.
So they searched Iraq and found Terrorists.

It's not like killing 3 terrorists is helping -- They can just recruit/train more.
If you want to kill off the Terrorist cell, you need to aim for the head and stop shooting off limbs.

    War in Iraq

Bambino, i am sorry for falsely assuming that you support Hamas, but with my overall experience from debating Palestinians on this subject (and i've had my fair share) most of them do, so im a little prejudiced on that subject.

as for the Hamas doing what they do because of us not passing resources to gaza...

that is so not true....they continue to fire their rockets even when the passages are open, and there are plenty of humanitarian organisations that israel permits through these areas.

besides, why should we even pass them resources? gaza has a border with egypt, why dont they get their stuff from there? i dont really fancy the idea of sending gasoline that will be later used as rocket fuel, nor do i like the idea of giving them electricity either....palestinians talk all day about wanting to be seperate from israel, and when israel cuts off it's electricity supply to gaza (which is only like 30% of the electricity that gaza uses) they immediately go to the blinded world media and tell them about that "terrible injustice"

now, ill go back to the subject of little kids dying-

as i said, it is unfortunate but it is invitable, when the Hamas and the PLO (i dont see any of them as a proper peace partner, they're just as bad) use their own civillian population as cover, inevitably little kids will die, somehow, despite of that, the Palestinians have no problem voting Hamas to their leadership, which i find very puzzling at the very least.

i once saw a video with a Qassam rocket launched from a building, on the rooftop of the same building there was a little kid, now, the Israeli airforce will logically attack the building from which the rocket was launched, and the kid will inevitably die.

and it's not like these people have no choice- some of them volunteer to do it, a couple of months ago i believe, Hamas Terrorists fortified themselves inside a mosque, and when they were surrounded by israeli forces, a whole battalion of palestinian women came and served as human shields so that the Hamas people could run away, as a result 2 Palestinian women died in the crossfire, and later that day the Hamas, with their immense cheek, publicized to the western media that "the Israeli occupation forces have attacked a holy mosque and slaughtered 2 innocent palestinian women"

the moment palestinians realise that the hamas is not good for them, things will change, untill then, i am doubtful there will be peace.

if we were talkin about 1 kid or 2 by mistake but here we are talkin about hunderd of children... and do u know why palestinians voted for hamas because we were sick of the corruption the government by fateh (فتح)and hamas offered to change...

and i would like you to see this.. http://www.ifamericansknew.org/stats/children.html

it shows how many children died from each side..

also you forget to say that you control the electricity,, water sources etc.. do u know that i pay double price than what u pay if we use the same amount of electricity because the israeli government gives our government electricity then they give us electricity

i think u do live in israel ... u pay for 1mb connection like 50 shekel if i am not wrong.. i pay 120 shekel per month for 256kb...

well, seeing that the Hamas uses kids as shelter almost all the time, and attacks mainly from heavily populated areas, the amount of kids killed is naturally high, also you are omitting the fact that many of these kids happen to carry guns and explosive belts-

there are also alot of dead palestinian kids killed because they are accidently killed by israeli soldiers who see them carrying guns, that later turn up to be toy guns, some of them are remarkably similar to a real gun- you cant blame the soldier for fearing for his own life and wanting to defend himself

a biased site such as "if americans knew" has no problem showing a high body count, but it fails to show the full picture, so it serves their agenda.

also, your graph from "if americans knew" website is ridiculous, firstly, it is a heavily biased , Pro-palestinian website, a quick scan of the website showed how many mistakes (i doubt they were unintentional) this site contains, but i'll assume that the kid casualties graph is true- the only reason that less israeli kids die, is because we have a more powerful army, and good security measures (what you call "oppression") and also the fact that the Hamas and their buddies are a sorry bunch of losers with no decent weapons, such as the horribly inaccurate Qassams that they use, solely on civil population.

if the Hamas were remotely competant to launch accurate rockets, they'd aim at schools. just like they used to aim their "accurate" suicide bombers at buses and restaurants, clearly not millitary targets.

as for the internet / resource charges- i dont see how it's our fault....we sell it to the palestinian government as you said, your government then doubles the price (that's what i understood from what you wrote) and then you have to pay double.

you dont honestly expect the israeli government to sell you these services for free, right?

you also say that the People of Gaza voted hamas because Fatah was corrupt- honestly, i wouldnt care less, there is something called responsibillity, they knew they are voting for a millitant organisation that doesnt even believe in the concept of peace with israel (a quick glance into their charter should show that) and supports armed warfare.

i understand why the palestinians didnt want Fatah anymore, but voting for Hamas was a poor choice to make, and in my point of view those who voted for hamas are directly responsible for this.

if the Palestinian population hates hamas so much now, why dont they overthrow them?

I will not comment again on this thread about the Israeli-palestinian conflict, as it is a topic that does not belong in this thread, if you wish to continue the topic post a seperate thread, if you psot here again i will not reply, because we are basically hijacking this thread.
