Wondering for Reporting a Scammer...

I'm aware of chat logs not being considered proof but what about screen shot chat logs? Would they be considered? If not is there a way to send a MSN chat log to someone as a file?

 

screen shots would work, because that's actual evidence. Unlike just pasting the text because you can copy and paste that.

 

I am pretty sure you need screenshots of the actual conversation..

You'll need screenshots of the conversation and also proof that you're scammed. By video (best IMO) then screenshots.

 

or u could always take video, that's best piece of evidence...

 

a video would be best cause if you screen a convo, it wouldnt be hard to change the text, with a simpl picture program, its really easy to make the contrast of a picture the same pixels and colour fades, and highlights, with a cheap picture program you could download from google, but with video, its more harder to incorperate, because to edit some thing totaly new it is hard to comlpy it from your program into the pixels needed to make it look real, so, if you got a hyper cam, id use that causes its the best proof of anything,

A Chat Log would be just copying/pasting the Text from your Conversation directly onto a Post. There is no evidence there, because you could obviously type up whatever you wanted in it.

A Screenshot, of course, is simply by pressing that button next to F12 - "Print Screen".

You can paste this on Paint, or some other program, and upload it at:

Screenshots can always be edited, but there better than nothing
