The GE seems to have skipped a day on the santas. It said that it rose but it's still the same price as it was yesterday, and that's freaking people out.

If the santas do go down, I expect them to bounce back up - the holiday event's effect isn't over. As for now, I'm holding onto mine.

for lower teir investors its hard to invest because its hard to make a noticeable profit with a small amout of money. Maby after they do all their short term merchanting and item manipulating to get some money then they will come to use.

    Announcement:
I'm putting up the sell notice for Santas today, if you want to keep it in hope of a rebound feel free.

I'm also suggesting that you start to sell off your dplates and pieces, although it's perfectly safe to keep them until tomorrow.

Thats why when I started with both short term merchanting and investing I kept records of everything I did. I wrote down the price I paid for everything, especially when I got an item lower than my actual offer. Then when I would sell I also recorded that. Basically when the paper filled up I would add up all the profits to see how I'd done. At this point I no longer do that, but may start again.

The most important thing for lower tier investors to do is just know that the investments will compound. Meaning you make a little money this time, so next time you can make even more money.

And I don't see how a low tier investor can "item manipulate" unless they get some insider information.

GE updated twice today. D plate was at 14.2 earlier today, and now it's at 14.7M I say keep it for a day more at least.

EDIT: Scratch that I'm going to be safe and sell it today and make a mil profit.

I decided to test the waters ad tried selling one of my ruined dragon lumps for max. After 2 hours it didn't sell so I put 2 of my lumps for lowest (another 2hours and no sale) and right now i'm kind of freaked out! I suggest other investors who bought ruined dragon plat parts sell immediatly!

Yea I have my plate up right now for 15M.

I have to sell it for at least 14.2M to get my money back. It's been up for about 2 hours.

Thats why I do the set merchanting on the side. I never lose when I set merchant, it doesn't make as large of gains, but it's gauranteed. When I first started I was getting 4.3-5% returns now I'm getting 5-7% returns on average. Sometimes more if I have some luck on my side.

It's basically my buffer so I don't lose money ever, no matter what I'm spending on pretty much. Also when I'm too lazy to find an item to invest in, I still have income from it. Usually I don't try to make more than 500k-700k a night, but if I wanted to pour more money into it I could easily pull 1M+ just overnight.

    Hi guys,
Just thought i'd let everyone know i'm part of the exchange watch team, a "hot item specialist" to be exact. I found a couple yesterday that I submitted to Merchant, so hopefully they will be up soon.
Expect a couple of submissions every 1-2 days from me :D

BH it to me, then I can show you where to invest :D

But seriously, I know a few of you said you would look for noobay items for low-cash people to invest in, please do that because I want to merch, but I have no idea what to do it with.

    Thanks

Have you read the actual guide on investing? When you say nooby what do you consider nooby? I like to call them low tier, and often times they are the best investments for anybody, because of how safe they are.

You just need to read merchant's guide and then go look for items in the 20-40k range that meet requirements of the guide. If you're lucky you can find some items even below that and hope they rise 2-3k, and come up pretty well.
