Reset Runescape.

I believe that Runescape should be reset. Yes, Reset. Every single account should be back down to tutorial island. It is getting out of hand now. Things come out, rise for a week then crash. The economy blows, WAY to many high levels etc. People are all about making money and shit, not about actual having an "online adventure" as their used to be.

 

This is so true, its not like it was back in the day unfortunately, i miss old RS

Rs used to be a place where you could just chill n zone out, if you had a deadly account you would be king.

now there are so many high levels, being a high level aint even good now, u have to be like 135+ to be considered good.

theres also so many pures nowadays it destroys the fact of making them.

it would be good if it got reset

 

The problem is the game mechanic itself, not the supply and demand thing. Renewable items like the degradable corrupt dragon armour are a perfect example. There's only a surplus of supply / demand for other reasons, not just the fact that more and more are pumped into the game. Renewable items like runes, food, logs = good
non-renewable items like godswords, rune armour, etc = bad

 

The why the hell we worked so hard? For a reset? WTF dumb idea.

i do agree, i remember when ever i saw a lvl 100+ i used to be like omg, that guy is god. Now its just another 10 year old that still barely knows how to play lol. Runescape has gotten themselves into a spiral where they need to keep making things easier than before and counter better weps with even better! Its fucking themselves over each update

 

Clearly you have a shitty account with not much wealth on it. If you had any sort of wealth you would realize that its just stupid because their is nothing that you can do with it.

 

I have 132 with ~10m and spent 60m on 90 farming -.-

lol i agree 85% of RS population is pures of some sort is rare that you get to fight a main or W/E till 120+ cus pures just dont exist much up there.

 

I partially agree, runescape is loaded with high levels since summoning came out, i recently achieved combat 100, and i was like OMFG I'M PRO, but i noticed i was not (duh) everyone is worried about money, instead of playing the game itself, but a reseld would not help at all, because the pures would come back, etc etc.

PD: About pures, in my 100cb i'm afraid of going PvP (i don't like loosing stuff) because it's pretty rare to fight a main without getting totally overwhelmed...

 

In the first i place i wished i never began to play this devil game.

Anyway , i wish runescape would be reseted , even tho i've been training my main for 7 years . You made a good points - i don't see any fun left .... I wish i could be a noob again and lose all my knowledge of runescape ...

Its not worth it. I've been a pmod for a while, I don't think the reset is worth it. I've seen the 10 year olds in action and such. If you think the games economy is shit, don't play.

 

People would go emo and you'd have mass suicides if they did this.

 

I just went on RuneScape with my pure and I had nothing to do. Player killing gets booring after a while, so yeah.. Just have to change something in your rs life and it will be alright.

P.s. reset would fuck up everything.

 

I personally miss the way runescape USED to be, it wasn't about pking or money making, it was about getting levels up for fun, as Music Makes Me Pwn said it was about the adventure, but now that's all changed. everyday runescape get's more boring all i ever log on for now is to speak with old friends.

Your kidding me? The worlds would be packed, it would be impossible to train, everyones hard work would go out the window..

 

Now that I think about it, it was more fun and exciting when I first joined... I remember wandering around for a few days filling my bag with cabbages and logs, looking for bronze weapons..

A few weeks later I discovered old-style merchanting, and thought it was awesome. That's how I made my first mil.. I was so excited.

Now I just pump mils out of the Grand Exchange, and waste them on PKing and Castlewars

Many things have lost the excitement and novelty they used to have, but nothing can change that now.

 

LOL. Dude, Every single acc should be reset ? That's ridiculous. I think you're just a low level (60 - 80) who is mad that he can't get in on the ever expanding merchanting world. "Online Adventure" ? Please. . . That is BS. Im not here to flame you but in my opinion, no one has been looking for online adventures. The whole point of RS is to become a high level and make money. That's pretty much it.

HOWEVER, i voted to reset RS because through this, everyone can have a fresh start. Plus, a little new change would be fun.
