    The Bible (short version)

I'm not a bloody saint, and to see my God portrayed in such an unacceptable manner, HOW do you expect me to react?
If half the Atheists on this website had half a donkeys dick as a brain, they would know how bad it is to talk about Jesus like that.

    The Bible (short version)

"If a thief be found breaking up, and be smitten that he die, there shall no blood be shed for him," we are told in Exodus 22:2. The next verse says, "If the sun be risen upon him, there shall be blood shed for him; for he should make full restitution; if he have nothing, then he shall be sold for his theft."

In other words, it was perfectly OK to kill a thief breaking into your house. That's the ultimate expression of self-defense. It doesn't matter whether the thief is threatening your life or not. You have the right to protect your home, your family and your property, the Bible says.

Its called self defence, We are in fact protecting our religion which we hold dear. (No offence) But stop trying to act all high and mighty and put in your opinion since no one insulted you, We have pride and we have responsibility. If we can not defend ourselves and our own religion what can we do?

    The Bible (short version)

"Blessed be the LORD my strength which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight," David writes in Psalms 144:1.

Clearly, this is not a pacifist God we serve. It's God who teaches our hands to war and our fingers to fight. Over and over again throughout the Old Testament, His people are commanded to fight with the best weapons available to them at that time.

And what were those weapons? Swords.

Now lets take it to modern times, My honor is brought into question, the honor of my GOD the honor of my congregation and I am expected to take it? I am going to use the best available weapon in the best way i can. MY BRAIN, THE INTERNET and THE BIBLE, I would gladly go to were ever the maker of this thread lives and kick his ass, Not to say im not christian but what hes doing is a TRAVESTY.

To be told to turn the other cheeck (<spelling?) is just not an option right now. Thanks but no thanks, I would rather use my brain to argue my point.

Well, maybe they don't have that. Either way, I was appalled by the article being a christian. However I choose not to satisfy their constant need for arguments just so they can throw some theories and miss interpreted bible verses at you. Blatantly disrespectful of them, but I guess there's no such thing as sin right????

    Half explained.
Exodus = before the Crucifixion of Christ, the Crucifixion of christ meant that there was to be no more earthly death for those who sinned. Because they are forgiven. It then only reffers to death as going to hell, or eternal damnation.

There is a moral and religious difference between Murder and Killing is there not?

For example in time of war killing is legally allowed, throughout the bible wars were fought infact God even helped in some. Yet when it came to murdering someone outside of war time there was severe punishment.

Oh of course, Im not saying that, I know that during the New testament there was times of war and im not in any way advocating killing of any one, All im trying to do is show you that GOD (mine, i dunno about yours) Allows violence, even lethal force to defend our selves and even to take the offense as to eliminate the need to protect/defend our selves, in this way all im trying to show is that if God, granted it was in the old testament, let people kill (WITH BOUNDARIES) I don't think he will frown when I am defend him and his son which is my saviour, To mock the death of JESUS CHRIST and not go without retrubtion shows the power of the internet,

Pity that the internet lets kiddies have there opinions because in real life many people even with a christian background and strong christian beliefs would take great offence to the images on this thread and the act of swearing or attacking the perpertartor (spelling again o_O) Means jack when it is compared to the defense of our lord and saviour.

-Sigh- That took long.. But did you get what I meant?

    The Bible (short version)

"Say unto thine own heart, "I am mine own redeemer." Says the book of Satan IV.
So then if there is no greater power involved, i ask you Atheists, then you must truly follow the satanic bible, leaving you as satanists and not as atheists.
The difference between a Christian and an Atheist is that a Christian has love for everyone, Where has an Atheist been taught to love thy enemy? He hasent and so therfore, he/She is once again living by the book of Anton Szandor LaVey.

"Love one another" it has been said is the supreme law, but what power made it so?
Upon what rational authority does the gospel of love rest? Why should I not hate mine
enemies - if I "love" them does that not place me at their mercy?"-Book of Satan III

Reward of being an Atheist is a freedom and a piece of mind.

X is comforting doesn't mean X is true. Just because you believe that there is a God doesn't mean God exists.

So by your logic, if I write a book which states that if you love people, you believe Allah. Does that make you a Muslim?

Ah, so you love your enemies? Am I not considered an enemy in your eyes? I'm not sensing any love.

Also, if you wish to continue this debate, continue it in the SFA forum and we'll debate there. I'm not replying to this thread anymore.
