Hello i purchased a account off of wellness#0001 today from discord.i paid $225.00 through PayPal friends and family.all went smooth as far as payment and transferring the account over.i log on haven't even changed password yet and buy a bond with paypal acct.i log off to transfer to a members world and BOOM it says account is locked.i log in on web and read message saying the account is perm banned for rwt(real world trading.).when i message wellness about this he immediately began blaming me and stating he will not reimburse or remedy this issue.i need help with this issue and would appreciate any input.

@Injure contacts me asking if I've taken Paypal from Stacie. I look at chat logs, no. He used OSRS a few months ago for a purchase (account). I tell Injure that he was lying, he says okay and moves on. Stacie adds me, I ask him why he lied. He apologizes, and asks if I'm selling any pures. I show him my list, he says cool wants to purchase one. I show him another, he says he likes that one. I tell him $225, he agrees. He wants to do Paypal, so I asked if he had any references, he had a strong one (DJNASTY) so I confirmed that with DJ and moved forward with the transaction. After the deal (paid + info exchanged) user says "Oh bro made a mistake I wanted the other pure".. when he clearly said he liked the one I sent him pictures of. I say no problem, if you want I'll do the leveling to maxed (90-99 str & 90-99 range @ cost with my team). He says cool, and we move on. ~30 minutes late user says account was banned? I asked for what.. he says RWT and shows picture and now is cussing me out and says he only traded over a bond and will be charging me back.

1) I don't even know if the account is actually banned or if he's lying.
2) Info + email was transferred to him and user claims he wanted a different account? It was clear he wanted the one discussed (screenshots below)

Either way, I feel like user is up to something and that the account may not be banned at all & he just wants a refund? Either way, if it is.. I feel for him but that's not my responsibility. I've sold 100+ accounts without a single report/ban or issue. User also could of forced the ban or tweeted it or something? Not really sure.

I've requested the user to make a report here, as he has threatened to chargeback the payment etc.

 

Ok in response to him attempting to add doubt to my character.one i asked someone to pm wellness to verify my business have done with him.i made a mistake and mentioned i may have done a paypal transaction with him as our last deal took place almost a year ago.i made clear with parties it was a mistake.i also had a misunderstanding with wellness in regards to which acct i wanted but in the end I thought we had came to a reasonable solution which I was happy with.i do not think his apparent paranoia should deem my air headiness shady or sinister.

 

Our first trade took place on 10/27/2019, not a year ago. It was also two pages up in our previous discord chat.

Either way, I'm done discussing this. I've never had an issue to this, and to think I can get an account banned for RWT (especially for a transaction I decided to take Paypal on) is asinine. I've sold 100+ accounts without a single issue, ever. I've had no accounts banned for RWT (personal) so I'm assuming OP is from a foreign country and potentially black listed.

I'm not really sure, either way. Information was given to him, email exchanged. I'm assuming he traded over gold+bond, but they're just assumptions.

I'll let staff tell me how to handle this moving forward.

 

Here is a screenshot showing that wellness admits the ban is likely due to the transfer of the acct from him to me.and this also shows the reason he does not wish to compensate me or be at fault is due to him not wanting to take a loss as oppose to be a good business man and admitting that he is in the wrong.he can he possibly show as much remorse for me if i was the scammer or trickster he has painted me out to be.

 

I have no idea why Jagex bans or what the reason was for. I can’t explain that to anyone, but I did my part in this transaction as I do in all of mine. I transferred email and I gave him info and after he got a bond and did other things, they triggered it as RWT and banned the account. I did my part, and it’s unfortunate but that’s part of the risk we all take in completing black market transactions on a game where they’re prohibited. This is my first time ever dealing with this or anything similar in over 110+ account sales. I’m sorry for your loss, but once again, I did my part here and sadly after 30+ mins this ban took place.

Okay i finally learned how to share images.so here are a few screenshots to answer to a few of his statements he made earlier.
1.a screenshot showing that I was satisfied with the acct i purchased although initially confused.and that we came to a reasonable agreement .
2.that i did not intentionally lie about our previous transactions and that we agreed it was a mistake and nothing sinister came from it.

You can clearly see how fast this happened.not even 20 minutes past and the account I purchased was suddenly perm banned for rwt.

 

There was none besides what he post on his scythe.other than id receive an acct for the payment.

 

My last statement on this matter because this is really frustrating to me as a buyer.the account was banned for rwt 20 minutes after the purchase.the only transaction I made on the acct was purchasing a bond via paypal.i can not see any way possible that I as the buyer could have triggered a ban for the account in that amount of time.ive done some research on the matter and it seems there is a few logical reasons this ban could have happened.and the most likely would be a flag due to the change of email addresses.and after further going through messages in the account i see he had just recently changed email again or transferred to another possible buyer maybe? I do not know but this was barely a month ago that the email was again changed.maybe the change of 3 emails in 2 months from different countries triggered this ban.? I am not looking to point a finger but to find a logical explanation and solution for this.i know without a doubt that I had no part in getting this account banned.and im sure anyone would like to not be on the losing end when buying a faulty item/account. I sent me 225$ and he received it with no issues is it not right i should be allowed to enjoy an acct long enough to change the password at the very least.i hope we can see some justice here and not allow this to become a popularity contest. Thank you for what ever the decision.

No. I simply gave him the info and transferred the email. User logged in, confirmed info, confirmed email swap and bought a bond via PayPal. He easily could have his PayPal flagged as he claims he’s bought 200+ accounts. Either way, I did my part of the deal and account was in his possession.

 

Sorry for the triple post, but also saw that the user opened a chargeback as well.

This guy is a compulsive liar. He's had bad intentions from the start of the deal and I firmly believe this user got the account banned on purpose now in hopes to get a refund. How he did it? I don't know.

But lets add things up in our head here..
1) User contacts me about LYING to another user about using Paypal.
2) User apologizes, buys an account from me via PP.
3) User immediately acts like he didn't want the account he purchased when he VERY clearly knew what he was buying as per screenshots above.
4) User gets the account banned once in his FULL POSSESSION and wants a refund immediately.
5) User charges back payment anyways before report is handled.


If I'm found somehow liable here, that is wrong. Not only did he have full possession of account and the ban took place WHILE in his possession, but he also has taken MANY dishonest steps BEFORE the transactions (that I should of caught as a red flag) but even after the deal he still tries to steal the funds back claiming that the account WASN'T in his possession.

Now I not only lose my account (near maxed pure) but I ALSO have to fight this case. This has been a lose, lose deal for me overall.
